I have the impression that while some that lived through and saw her wedding remember, and of those, a subset like Diana, youth are not admirers of her the way certain youth today still admire Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Youth today often don't even know even recognize the names of or descriptions of some who famous people from the 20th century and early this century. Young adults I speak don't know who Carolyn Bessette Kennedy was and she would have been an extremely famous--still one of the most famous today--U.S. President's daughter-in-law, has he not already been deceased. Some young adults do though many do not.
Narcissists often have no sense of time and talk about the endless wrongs they perceived they have suffered from over half a decade or a decade or decades ago as if they happened today.
I think they have stayed in some time warped bubble in which they thought thankfulness toward Diana for her charity work, style, friendliness toward the public--in sudden departure from this family's distance and remoteness to it and it's demeanor of acting above it earlier--memorable hairstyle, very fluffy wedding dress with extremely long train together with the fairytale aura these suggested, shy expression and lovely speaking voice still stay around today, such that they are still trying to milk it like a dry turnip. They haven't seemed to see it has evaporated through decades and young adults today hardly or did not ever see or care to see or know of this.

This is why you do not marry people who bring nothing. Kate has been merching nonstop since she married in and her freeloading for some reason has been indulged. Kate is like Fergie, an impecunious mediocrity who lucked into a prince and has been contributing nothing nonstop. From hereon I think Kate will lose her ability to merch photographs and I sincerely hope the world press makes the Windsors struggle to get into their good graces. Kate not only caused the Crown to lose free legal services due to her nonstop lawsuits, but now has caused the Crown to lose valuable press relationships.

She insults the Crown and the BRF and nation by imposing her freeloading family on the taxpayer. Carole is freeloading off of her daughter and SIL and that is out of line. There is staff and I don't think Carole is living quietly. I bet you anything she is harassing staff, overworking them, and she is likely slurping all the wines and champagne and eating the gourmet food that is not meant for her. Plus having her breakfast in bed and putting more and more airs and graces.

I hope I'm making some impact - my zingers are pretty good, but I have the extra advantage of not being a Sussex stan, per se, just a pissed-off "insider", perhaps? I just know that the BRF and members of the BP are aware of the real dirt behind the scenes. I think after a good decade of writing about the Cambridges, etc, we get some credit, eh? |

I personally don't believe Kate is even sick. Yes, I will state that - I need a lot more proof that she is actually and truly sick. Kate Middleton has cried wolf way too many times and it's not the first time she may have faked something.
I think she is piggy-backing off King Charles's diagnosis, even down to the claim of cancer being found post-surgery. It's just too much of a coincidence for this cynical gal here. Lie, after lie, after lie, after lie, after lie, etc, etc, etc, etc - Kate and the BRF have blown it big time. The King's illness was never a secret so why all this drama and high-pitched subterfuge about her? It doesn't add up.
I welcome being proven wrong.
