James Middleton, Donna & Alizee - Married down, Jimbo?

I think he married his exact level. Donna Air works and has sincere ambition and James does not. Alizee seems to have a ton of time off and I am certain that she will end up being outed as either a fraud or a rich girl from a new money family. Second, I believe that James is lucky that anyone wanted him at all. 

I find it intriguing that with the exception of the Woodvilles, the commoners of royal wives never do very well at all. James and Pippa did not get big titles and big bucks and neither wedding was a major draw or major event. In fact, with the advent of changing times, it is obvious that Willima can't do much for them. 

It is a cruel irony that if William had been busy building substance behind the status, he never would have kept Kate and married her. I wonder if the Midds know this.
