I really do think that Harry should live a quieter life and just adjust and recuperate and ride out the huge life choice he has made. He NEEDS heavy therapy and relaxation and down time to process everything and deal with what it was that made him walk out of the only life he has ever known. It is also clear that he is struggling to handle the fact that he is no longer much of anything official and that too will take a HUGE amount of processing.

I believe that she's right and I don't think Harry did treat her right. After the breakup she was branded as 'needy' and that kind of annoyed me. Yeah, young women are needy at times. Cressida probably saw what life would be like being 'target practice' for Kate and Co. and likely she got death stares from Kate on the regular.

Wallis was being beaten to death by her first husband. I don't know if it is true, but she might have been beaten so bad that she may have been rendered infertile. Meg was supposedly not abused, so there is no comparison and I am fed up with this demonization of Wallis Simpson. As for Philip, I don't blame him for the shock, but he surely saw that the situation for Harry went from toxic to nonfunctional.

I would take what a lot of pro-Cambridge sugars and apologists write and claim with a huge grain of salt. They are going to play up the anti-Meghan angle. I agree with you, and seeing Wallis Simpson in a new light. She's been blamed and used as a convenient scapegoat for way too long.

I think Harry used Meg; if he hated his life, he should have ended up being responsible enough to leave without dragging a wife into that mess and deciding to let her take all the hits. Second, Wallis had the guts to get out of an abusive marriage and did what a lot of society women never had the chance to do or the courage.

Meghan has always been a forceful, take charge character. But give Wallis the credit to leave her marriages - it was quite hypocritical at the time to look down on her for her "failed" marriages, when the set she moved in was VERY non-chalant about marital fidelity.

It is still his responsibility to take that step and make a life for himself and not lump it all on his wife's shoulders. Meg took a lot of crap in the press for being completely at fault and he should have made it clear that it was mainly him, not just her.

The Windsor men are notoriously weak. Harry has been abused for so long that I feel he did not have the skill set to deal with these people and their institution that run the whole show. It took someone strong like Meg to come in and assess the situation. She gave Harry the strength to make a move. And then there was Archie too which solidified their decision to get out.

www.celebitchy.com/685702/robert_lacey_prince_harry_does_not_like_the_term_megxit_insists_it_was_his_decision/Robert Lacey: Prince Harry ‘does not like the term Megxit, insists it was his decision’ October 22, 2020 By Kaiser Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William, Royals Many of you are cancelling Robert Lacey and his book, Battle of Brothers: William and Harry – The Inside Story of a Family in Tumult. I think the book started out as something more interesting, like it was a more in-depth look at how Prince William and Prince Harry got to the place where they can barely stand the sight of each other. But Lacey’s promotion for the book has been so haphazard and he’s been talking out of both sides of his mouth, so I don’t know what to believe. I think he’s probably just a fussy old dude who recognizes that Meghan could have been great for the institution, but he mostly sees why the other fussy old dudes HATED her. Anyway, Us Weekly has a few stories from the book and Lacey’s promotional interview, so here are some highlights: William hated the way Meghan & Harry announced Archie’s birth: “On the morning of 6 May [2019], Meghan was duly delivered of her delayed but healthy son, weighing in at 7lbs 3oz. Baby Archie had arrived with the dawn at 5.26 a.m., allowing grandmother Doria [Ragland] and the happy couple to return to Windsor with their precious cargo undetected.” It was not until eight hours later, however, that the royal family released a statement saying the Duchess of Sussex, now 39, “went into labor” with the Duke of Sussex, now 36, by her side. “Their stratagem was bolstered by Buckingham Palace’s putting out a strangely misleading statement at 2 p.m. that day saying that the Duchess of Sussex was just going into labour — when she had, in fact, been delivered of her new son eight hours earlier.” The confusion apparently struck a nerve with Harry’s big brother, Prince William, who “did not think too highly of Harry and Meghan’s ‘prima donna’ manoeuvres to conceal the birth of their son,” Lacey claims. Harry hates the term “Megxit”: “Harry, of course, is on the record several times saying he does not like the term Megxit. He insists it was his decision, but it’s the advent of this dynamic, controversial woman who brings fresh dimensions to his life and a fresh look,” Lacey said. “Why should he play the second role to William all the time? That’s close to the roots of what went wrong in the split.” Charles in Charge: “In the light of the rift, [William] and his father are much closer together. There are no more of these arguments. As for Harry, I would hope that the relationship between Harry and his father, which remains quite close and warm — as indeed is his relationship directly with the queen — that might be some way ahead for reconciliation,” he told Us. “I mean the obvious person to create or encourage your reconciliation is Charles. He hasn’t come into the picture so far as we know so far. It’s very interesting.” William was openly disdainful of Charles: According to Lacey, William’s relationship with his father was strained during Charles and Diana’s tumultuous relationship. The author claims Charles’ eldest son felt “open disdain and aggression towards his father that has lasted to the present day.” William often sided with his mother prior to her 1997 death, per the book. “I hate you, Papa. I hate you so much,” he allegedly once screamed at his dad. “Why do you make Mummy cry all the time?” I will leave the quotes from the book found on CB.
Don't think it's the fussy old dudes, etc, who are the problem. That is what at least some of the staff at CB and commenters are totally missing. And whilst on that, their cries of racism at the drop of a hat are getting a tad tiring, too. No, it's NOT that, believe it or not. But, good on you that you are at least openly talking about things. Kudos for that.

Prince Harry accused of 'putting cash before duty' after stepping back from Royal Family
How stupid. He's just making a living and as for 'duty', he doesn't owe the UK anyhting and he most certainly does not owe the press anything either. I mean really, after the way Meg was treated and how he was always the whipping post,
Harry isn't coming back and he will never come back.

I wish Harry would. I wish Harry would tell all and leave that family in the dust. He owes them nothing and never will from here on out.

Prince Harry is 'deeply saddened' after his request to have a wreath laid on his behalf at London's Cenotaph today for Remembrance Sunday was 'refused' by Buckingham Palace
Another slap in the face and this is by his own kin; the RF knows the truth and yet they still engage in this 'act' as if Harry is responsible for abandoning the British nation during the Blitz.
