It was supposed to be a very Merry Middleton Christmas in a bubble of ten.

As the brains behind Party Pieces, it’s little surprise that Carole Middleton likes to play hostess every Christmas, decorating her Berkshire manor house with baubles and ribbons, baking mince pies and keeping the mulled wine flowing.

But last night, as for so many families across the country, Christmas had to be cancelled.

The original plan had been for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, with children George, Charlotte and Louis, to travel to the Middletons’ Grade II listed home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, for the festivities.

Aside: Our hearts bleed, Council Carol. If if weren't for selfish, non-social distancing creeps like your shoddy son Jimmy taking vacations and your daughter going on super spreader train tours, then maybe, just maybe drastic measures didn't need to be taken. That said, who CARES, CC? Who cares about your useless family? How have they contributed to the betterment of society?

Well, her power appears to be fading big time. I personally do not see her as an astute business woman, mainly because I think her temper takes over when things go wrong, she gets blinded with rage - not a good trait. Look at the surrog#cy situation, they rushed into that without much thought other than getting a baby. They didn´t see past that it would appear. Bit like they stalked weak willed billy boy but never seemed to have a plan beyond flashing the rings (and other parts.....). A good business person has a plan, with a solid foundation, and covers every aspect they can think of to cover all eventualities. Carol (e) mustn´t forget the "e" only got her plans as far as (a) the rings and (b) waity flashing a baby to the world. Her plans would appear to have been built on a foundation of dry sand. There was no thought or planning to what came after (a) or (b). I also think Mikey has more power than we tend to think. He might be quiet, but that face is also mean. For all we know he gives ma the bullets to fire a lot of the time. Ma does not strike me as overly intelligent, hence she needs to e given the bullets to fire. They often say the quiet ones are the worst. Also the little question of Mikey boy piloting planes into the UK containing "duty free" goods from Europe for fester - he must have known what his cargo was. I think Mikey boy deserves more credit than we give him with regard to this whole debacle.

I remember reading all about this; how it was hyped of Kate 'arriving' on the charitable scene and how Kate was oh so philanthropic. Yet she wasn't. Then Carole wants to go and party with the kids who are half her age, so wrong.

Lol Carole is yet again too dumb to realize that this drivel not only solidifies how William avoids the midds like the plague but word is he’s lived separately from Kate for quite a while now. Wouldn’t be surprised if he limits her time around the children as well to keep the middys from getting their claws in them.

Prince William will be supported by wife Kate Middleton’s family at his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral — where he’ll come face-to-face with his brother, Prince Harry, for the first time in more than a year, Page Six is told. The 39-year-old Duchess of Cambridge’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, are due to attend the service for the Duke of Edinburgh, who died at age 99 on Friday.

The 38-year-old heir to the British throne — who has been taking on more and more responsibilities in the royal family in recent years — has long adored his in-laws. It’s particularly important for William to have their support as he is said by royal sources to be “heartbroken” after Harry laid bare their rift during a blockbuster interview with Oprah Winfrey last month.

Philip’s funeral is set to be held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle next Saturday after eight days of public morning in the UK, and it will be a family affair.

A royal source revealed that the Middletons have also grown close to Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, saying: “They really are all good friends.”

As Page Six reported last month, William and Kate, who have been in pandemic lockdown at their Norfolk home with their children, dreaded the “soap opera” of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s interview with Winfrey. “They don’t wish to elevate this soap opera — it’s honestly like watching Elizabeth Hurley in ‘The Royals,’” a source added. “William and Catherine are surrounded by goodness, they have the Middletons, Carole and Mike, Pippa and her husband, James, and James Middleton and his fiancée, Alizee. They’re such a grounded, happy family.”

For years now, Carole Middleton has behaved like royalty, although it’s gotten even creepier recently. I generally believe that Carole is running a communications office out of Bucklebury (probably right next to her grow operation) and she’s been frantically embiggening Kate for the past year, almost like something very specific has scared the sh-t out of the Middletons. Still, Carole thinks that she’s almost Queen-like, having raised the Future Future Queen and being so beloved by the Other Brother. It’s a really bonkers situation and no, I don’t believe that Camilla and Charles are “good friends” with the Middletons. Come on. Charles thinks William is a putz for being so enamored with the Middletons. But it makes sense that the Other Brother needs the support of the Middletons so he can bravely bully Harry at their grandfather’s funeral.

Given that only 30 people can attend – I will believe it when i see it. The immediate RF will make up more than half of those numbers and then there is his personal staff and members from his own family.

This is pure Middleton PR to shove themselves into the middle of the story to remind us all that they exist with ‘WHAT ABOUT US, WE’RE ROYAL TOO’. Didn’t some commenters predict this yesterday on one of the Royal threads? That they’d be putting out a story about being Williams rock.

This. If you only have 30 v precious spots, will two of them really go the Middleton seniors? Hope that even if Baldemort throws his toys out of the pram, the Queen won’t let her hand be forced on this one. But also, considering the PM (!!) rejected the invitation to allow more family to attend, it would just look so tone deaf if the Middys did go.

Billy isn’t in charge of this funeral in any way whatsoever and Carole needs to cool it with the media aggrandizement. It’s gross to do this over a funeral. There are a ton of actual relatives that may not end up on the list of 30 people so there is no way that Carole is going to be there. The only Middleton going to that funeral is Kate.

Ah I dunno if this is true, the Telegraph published a list of the likely attendees, there are only 30 currently allowed at UK funerals, so it will be family and close aides only. The Telegraph predicted that Kate Middleton and Mike Tindall would get an invite as they knew Philip for years, but Beatrice & Eugenies spouses wouldnt.
