I have started watching the Markle family interview that was televised in Australia last night. So far no great revelations but it is incredibly sad to see Thomas Markle Snr struggle with his voice as a result of the stroke. Clearly, Thomas Snr loves his daughter even though she has just thrown him out like garbage. It really shows what MM is really like. MM lived predominantly with her father most of her younger life and he provided for her not only loving her but giving her a good education etc when Doria was not around. I just wonder why the Markle family don't just come out with the missing piece of the puzzle but it is probably to do with the fact that the Sussex squad etc would start the rampage of abuse etc. Plus I get the feeling it is beneath them to air out all the dirty laundry. Not sure if the link can be accessed outside of Australia/New Zealand but the program was on Channel 7. 7plus.com.au/7news-spotlight

I always believed that Thomas was the one that knew the real Meghan and that Meghan didn't "want to go there" because he and others didn't fit the the narrative of her childhood/early adulthood that she wanted to push. The dishonesty, secrets and false narratives only fed and emboldened her enemies in the British press and elsewhere. I also think that Meghan plays this Diana victim narrative with Harry and again the Markles don't fit in with that.

I think Meg is more like Doria than her father; Meg prefers to live a louche life of not making much effort and has problems living a stable life. She has had the best that an Emmy award winning lighting director has to offer and she still is bringing on the hate. Meg hates her father the same way a feral cat hates someone who just wants to take her in and take care of her. Meg has spent her entire life doing everything but going that extra mile that would get her to where she wants to go. I do not think Meg is capable of coping with an easy life and she is not capable of coping with a challenging one. She hates the only man who gives her unconditional love. Hare family always loved and accepted her and it is clear that she doesn't want the love of people who just reach out and want her to reach back. I do not think Meg has any real place in any area and seeing this decent man mistreated makes me enraged. Lowlife ingrate.

Apologies Admin for not responding earlier but only got a chance to watch the end of the Markle interview yesterday. No details about Doria but it is clear there is a significant gap when she was not around. Thomas Markle Snr continues to explain that he just wants a chance to speak to MM and is asking how he can 'fix things' between both of them. It comes across as he considers that he is to blame for MM throwing him away like garbage. My opinion is that she had plans that he would not be in the picture and the pap photos was an opportunity to make sure it wasn't 'her' fault. Thomas Markle Snr has stated that there was a lot more in the 'letter' that does not show MM in a good light but he would not sell the letter or leak that part of the letter. Samantha set out that both MM and Harry enable each other and did indicate, without directly saying it that MM had narcissistic tendencies. She was careful with her wording. I got a giggle that Samantha pointed out that without their Dad that MM would still be a waitress One thing Samantha was direct about in that when MM started going out with Harry that when she told her father she had to say about the 'Prince' aspect. Samantha pointed out that MM didn't say that he was a nice guy etc but focussed on Harry being a prince. She had a plan and made sure any family members that either knew too much or didn't fit her narrative were written out of the picture.

One thing I do see is how she and her friends are estranged. She has no buddies from her uni years and I think when Meg went to Canada, she started messing around (maybe escorting) and she lost her early childhood friendships because of it. Childhood friendships are hard to break and it is clear that she had to have been doing something that was bad news. She was 'mixing' with people of status, but could only count Jessica Mulroney and a few others as friends? She did small speeches at the UN and did well, but oddly she didn't get any further than small time stuff or roles? One pattern I do see is that for all her mixing, she was oddly not getting invites to anything major in her own right, always on someone's arm. I do not think she has anyone left and it is telling that at her age, she is so alone. Some people talk about how being alone is better at middle age, but ti is clear that often alone sometimes means that one has failed at being a good person. Meg is like an addict who has no one left other than an enabling spouse and she is destroying him as well while she proceeds to continue to ruin herself.

I wonder how many ex-lovers Meg has; she does not behave like a woman who is baggage free, or at least a woman who has made good choices.

I do notice that all her former friends and lovers have nothing positive to say about her.
