I’d love to know more about like what Diana’s sisters do now... or other interesting stories of the aristocrats or close friends.

I sometimes think that Sarah resented Diana for the fact that Diana got the ring and she, Sarah, didn't. Then she lost Diana and at the same time, she didn't support Diana when she (Diana) wanted to back out. I also think Sarah was blindsided by the idea that Charles would want to marry her little sister instead of herself. I think it was terrible the way Charles so coldly dumped Sarah over the phone and just threw Diana in her face until the time Diana died. I cannot imagine getting dumped and then seeing him take up with a younger sibling of mine and go off to marriage and then curtsy to said sibling and see her sibling feted and adored and only be a footnote in that person's history. Would be wounding really.
As for the aristocratic set in general, the Windsors don't really seem to give all that much back to the aristocracy. The Windsors prefer celebs and socialites to the aristos and it is increasingly clear that all the Windsors want the aristos for is a whipping post for good PR. "Friendship" seems very one-sided really.

Just yesterday I read that Ledy Melissa Percy give birth to her first child. The think that is a little bit strange to me is the age difference between her and her husband. He is 49 years old. And they married then she was already at her 7th month of pregnancy.

I often wonder how that marriage would have went. I wonder if Diana would been one of Tampon's mistresses. I do know, if he had married Camilla first, there would have been mistresses.

I did read that Diana was highly competitive with Sarah in a lot of areas and I also believe that Diana might have been a mistress if Sarah had gotten the ring, Diana might have been disgusting enough to do it. She had a real sense of wanting to 'best' her sister at all times and it is clear that Diana had serious issues with boundaries. If he had married Camilla, for all we know, maybe Diana would have tried to topple Camilla and gotten whacked as a result of it. I just believe that the situation with Diana/Sarah was really messed up and it is clear that Diana 'got off' on besting Sarah and Sarah likely retaliated by getting Diana worked up before the wedding and telling Diana that it was too late to back out and I think Sarah might have been rolling her eyes at Diana's insecurities since Sarah might have been thinking "you usurped my place, you chased after him just as much as he was interested in you, and you are now suddenly realizing that it wouldn't be easy? You wanted this so badly, tough!" What intrigues me, is how little it counts that the "HRH" no longer has the lure that it used to. You would think that the aristocrats would be throwing themselves at William nonstop, but many of them ended up not wanting to have much of anything to do with him. They shied away and focused on careers. Many of them have settled into life and now are parents, but William continues to freewheel through life and live a trouble filled life.

Sarah had no one to blame, but herself. Funny enough, Diana didn't heed her example. I'll (personally) never believe Diana wanted a divorce. On the mistress point, I don't think Diana would have chased Tampon if he married out her circle. I do believe if she was his sister in law, he would have jumped on her as he did when she tried to verbally comfort him about Mountbatten's death. Just as I believe, Diana was not a virgin on her wedding day and that was why Philip put the pinch on Tampon to make a move either way. Why would anyone (of either gender) want to marry into that mess? Spouses get offed for any little offense. I'm sure that set knew of the torch William has for Jecca, and even she didn't marry him.

So I don't know if I could ask there this question. How about the Scottish clans today? Are they seen as aristo? Do they have any political and economical power? One of my favourite Brittish actress Rose Leslie is coming from a Scotish clan, so it make me interested to know more about them and their life today.

I also would like to know more about scottish clans/aristos (as well as about irish though) nowadays. I know that some of scottish peers sometimes are the head of the clans - as for example Duke of Argyll is chief of Campbell clan. Here is a good article about it. clancarrutherssociety.org/2020/03/13/clan-carruthers-current-list-of-scottish-clan-chiefs-and-commanders/

Oh these classy aristos! Everything for generations you know Duchess of Rutland admits living with estranged husband in The Crown's Belvoir Castle nine years after his affair with another woman is 'wildly unconventional'Emma Manners married David Manners, the 11th Duke of Rutland, in June 1992 The couple's marriage broke down in 2012 after the Duke embarked on an affair But the Duchess of Rutland, 57, insisted they are still the 'very best of friends' The couple continued to live on the estate for the sake of their five children www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-9309055/Duchess-Rutland-admits-living-estranged-husband-affair-wildly-unconventional.htmlThey have a heir btw. He is just 21 y.o. though, nahh too young.

Sarah had no interest in marrying Charles which is why she spoke to the press and made the dustman comment. Charles just didn't phone her anymore. Both moved on. Clan Chiefs for the most part are aristocrats. Scottish people don't really do the clan thing, it's for tourists. The kilt as we know it today was really invented in the 1830s by Sir Walter Scott, the tartan patterns and colours weren't invented until then. It is illegal to use the family coat of arms of anyone unless it has been awarded to you and approved by the Lord Lyon and his office. Having the same surname does not mean your ancestors were in a clan. Clans mostly come from the Highlands. Many people living on a Laird's (clan chief ) land often adopted the surname of the Laird.

They're not very smart, are they? It is clear that none of them see the value in keeping a low profile in these troubled times and it is clear that they are stuck in a time warp. This is the last time and place for the round of self glorification that they are indulging in and since James is there, being upper crust is no longer inaccessible.

And the article seems to make out he's the one being the most practical? Like all the others were showy and gauche, yet he kept it simple? What a laugh.

He recently had a stroke in Greece. His granddaughter Olympia likely doesnt even speak Greek and her father, who calls himself the crown prince of Greece, chooses to live permanently in New York where he does investments. He was born in Italy and from what I know has never lived in Greece, yet claims to be the greek crown prince. Irrelevant people, living off illusions and hoping to regain lost thrones to "serve us".
