It's not like Kate has anything better to do with her time or her mind than think up new ways of being antagonistic. The more this goes on, the more Kate proves how pointless she is as a consort. Kate should be out and about pulling in jobs/helping the politicians keep the UK stable, but since she is unable to do that, she is completely pointless. She now basically has no one left in her life and dressing to antagonize is all she has left that she is able to do. If Kate would for once tone down her relentless competitiveness, she would in fact have avoided driving Harry out for good. I am critical of Meg, but let's face it, Kate refuses to let up.

Kate and her vile family have effectively destroyed a 1000 year old Monarchy - betrayed it so grievously it may never rebound. And to think, because of her actions, the entire institution has to work overtime to cover the mess. She has the gall to parade her so-called children that even non royal watchers are starting to talk about. What an epic mess but no one can claim we didnt warn of this for years.

Kate needs to be put in her real place. Two steps behind her husband and when Harry is there, two steps behind Harry walking with Meg. Harry should NOT be treated as a third wheel walking behind William and Kate like some flunky and it is clear that Kate has been out of control ever since she ponied her way into that family. This has to stop. Kate has to STOP behaving as if she is there by right and she HAS to STOP being indulged. If titles are going to mean anything, they have to stop letting outsiders walk all over the insiders and this pseudo-feminism BS has to stop. If Kate has no accomplishment or ambitions other than to be a good little wife, then she had better walk two steps behind the real royals, like a good little wifey. If this had been done sooner, if the palace had come down hard on her sooner, Harry would have stood a better chance at stabilizing and so would Meg. I do not blame Meg for getting agitated if Kate was stirring up trouble (as is Kate's wont) and Meg was already pretty flaky to begin with. I genuinely believe that had Kate not strirred up trouble and become so senselessly competitive, that Meg would have likely stayed and stuck it out for at least the last years of QE's life. Then with the start of a new reign Harry and Meg would have been able to leave and maybe swing some kind of official role in the States.

The only thing is that Harry is and was no diplomat - if you leave the family, you become a private citizen (within limits of course) and there shouldnt be any official role made for him. His wife is a former Anerican actress - no access via that route but...we saw how that panned out. They received what they didn't earn and deserve by a long shot. Guess we can thank Wasty Dolittle for that too.

There hasn't been a protocol about a prince leaving his post; this isn't something that is supposed to be happening and I can't blame Harry for flaking out and reacting. Kate is to blame for much of this. Look at how she behaved at the 2012 Olympics and that alone was unforgivable. Kate is to blame for this mainly since she keeps REFUSING to back off and walk two steps behind and contribute. People talk down on Meg as if Harry could have done better, but he couldn't. No decent woman would behave like a beck and call mistress for a man who was giving no guarantee of commitment. It's not like Harry even promised Meg a ring and we all know how William strung Kate along for a decade. Then there is the fact that no smart woman would put herself in that mess.
The Windsors have been a mess for years and it is clear that neither QE or Prince Charles were going to raise those princes right and this is the result. Due to feminism and arranged marriages being obsolete, no decent woman could be forced into that mess. No one has to marry well to survive and QE and Charles were 100% negligent in making sure that the princes were well trained and going to make enough of themselves that anyone of any decent standing would want to marry them. Charles was responsible in making much of his position, but regrettably he failed to make sure his sons were well raised and trained and prepared to attract decent women. Both princes assumed that 'the best' would throw themselves at them to be looked over like groupies and when it didn't happen, so be it.
