On every royal thread, it's always the same; HM will likely die soon and the comments will be chock full of how HM 'failed' to protect Meg properly and so on and so forth. I agree with the comments and such, but many threads are not the place for hearing about Meg's troubles in the UK. if a thread were to pop up about Prince Philip, it would be loaded with comments about how Meg suffered persecution at the hands of the press and BRF. If a thread about Andrew is posted, it is loaded with comments about how Meg suffered and Andrew was protected (true, but really, Meg's suffering was at least materially pleasant). If I were to be able to talk to Meg, I would have told her to give her time in the UK at least four years and figure out a way to parlay at least behind the scenes until something can be worked out. Meg's fans talk like Meg was forced to live in a dungeon, eat scraps, wear rags, and basically live off of nearly nothing.
Meg enjoyed a huge amount of privilege and I am certain that things could have worked out if Meg/Harry had talked with MP's about seeing if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could have been reined in by a quietly passed act of Parliament. Meg was not likely driven to the point of suicide and I think her mental problems are either organic or a result of her refusal to accept life for what it is (often unfair). Meg herself came into that marriage with a highly questionable past and a sincere delusion about her actual level of power. She quit her UN position (claiming that the palace made her, which wasn't true) and then she claimed that she was being stalked to the point of people breaking into her home (not true). Meg also has her Soho House past to deal with and she has a history of lying about things. She has shown herself to be someone who prefers to refuse to adapt and she shows herself as someone who refuses to accept that she has no exceptional qualities.
Her fans hype her as being a supernova and a huge world player, but she isn't. In times of wealth players indulge their playthings, but in times of troubles, the playthings get put away and real work begins. Meg is a plaything, an entertaining indulgence, but she has to stop this 'player' bullshit. Her fans have to accept that their world savior isn't a savior, but a mediocre woman who demands respect that should go to people of accomplishment, not her lower tier level.

I totally agree - they keep harping away on their favourite topic - St. Meghan, and it's wearing very, very thin. There are a lot of interesting, varied comments/views expressed, and I enjoy reading them. But lay off on the Meghan worship - you want to know how some royal figures suffered and I tell you, Meghan didn't suffer an inkling of what some of them went through. Maybe some of these people should read up on the fates of the Romanovs, and many other royal figures, etc, so they will get a small clue that Meghan had it VERY, VERY good in comparison. Has Meghan had dozens of her family members murdered? No. Did Meghan get accused of tr#ason and have her children removed from her, sometimes for life? No. Did Meghan have a branch of her family die in a tragic plane crash? No. Did Meghan have brothers, sisters, and other relatives who fell fighting world wars? No. Was Meghan watched by secret police/paid henchman who tracked her every move? Doubtful. Did Meghan lose most of her children/other family members/brothers/sisters/you name it to smallpox, diphtheria, disease, famine, execution, or war? I think we know the answer. Did Meghan suffer famine or hunger? Have to seek refuge in other countries, etc, because she wasn't safe in the one where she lived? Doubtful, I think. Did Meghan have her legacy and memory removed from family record? No. Did Meghan have absolutely no friends, family, money, resources, and support at her disposal? No. I could go on, but this is a good selection.

Meg keeps trying to recreate her childhood, where she had a daddy who did ALL HE COULD to prop her up and make her into a happy successful person. She refuses to put in the dues and take the hits that come from moving up in the world. She refuses to accept that she isn't special, we all suffer material denial (rare exceptions excluded) and she has to stop whining about how she 'suffers' all the time about how she is denied a rightful place on the world stage. She keeps looking for a free ride and her stans forget that at Meg's age, she should be aware that hits come in life. Throughout school she kept running with privileged kids who were set for life, but she was not, but instead of being responsible, she ended up throwing all that time away. Instead of training, she partied. Instead of rehearsing, she wanted to watch shows and thought that she should be handed lead roles despite her complete lack of willingness to get training. Julliard would have been a better school to go to if she wanted to act, but she didn't want to really train, she wanted to party and wanted to coast. Her stans will not stop harping about a short short short part of her life that is officially over and has been over for a long long long time.
As for player status, at this point in time, she will never get that. She will never be a UN delegate and she will never be someone who is consulted on anything and she will not at all be a true equal on the geopolitical stage.
This is a hard thing for Diana fans, but after a year or two of coddling, she would have been expected to go off and make a life of her own, not continue to meet with heads of state. Same with Meg. African heads of state will now have none of Harry and Meg is a literal toxic joke. In times of trouble, we all find out if we are playthings or players and Meg is a plaything. Even Diana's oh so illustrious ancestress the Duchess of Devonshire was a plaything and in troubled times, the Duchess was relegated back to the parlor rooms, not the conference rooms.

I think this is accurate though. Kate is Harry's Camilla, a woman who refuses to back off and accept that he has a right to a new life and a wife and a family life with wife in question. Kate was out of line and she was telling the world that Harry was 'hers' despite the fact that the idea of it was out of bounds. Kate likely drove out Cressida and Chelsy and who knows who else. Meg wasn't the best choice, but she was the choice that was left.

Well, the Ceebees are commenting about this new demand, mentioning how Harry is a target now from the UK Government.
Prince Harry wants to pay for his family’s protection in the UK & they won’t let him

Aside: Goodness - in what hamburger universe do some of these folks reside? Bet most weren't even born when Diana was alive, or were too young to even remember. They want to believe the BRF is out to harm Harry...based on WHAT? Their biases and lack of rational thinking skills?LW says: January 17, 2022 at 7:41 am They want to Diana him. No one can convince me otherwise.
On the plus side this puts a block on any possibility of H&M bringing their kids to Salty Island, chock on that!Reply Haylie says: January 17, 2022 at 8:06 am No. They want to scare him back into the fold as Will’s whipping boy. They want to “Diana” Meghan, Archie and Lilibet.
Reply Tessa says: January 17, 2022 at 8:27 am ANd like the stans wish, he can be “taken care of” by Will and Kate and be their third wheel and scapegoated. So horrible.BabsORIG says: January 17, 2022 at 8:32 am @haylie, don’t be so sure. At this point, its clear they could “Diana” Harry himself within a heart beat and with no remorse whatsoever. The last 2 times Harry returned to the UK would have been very hard for them to murder him because he was with some BRF senior member and he was too visible. They’re scared of sending a hitman to Frogmore cottage, its way too obvious. My prayers are for the Lord’s protection of the Sussex family. And if harry knows what’s best for him, he would steer way clear of the UK.
RoyalAssassin says: January 17, 2022 at 8:41 am You’re spot on, BabsORIG: they’re a bunch of savages, and that’s never going to change. As for the rest, I’m too angry to comment: these people are just plain scum.myjobistoprincess says: January 17, 2022 at 9:18 am Protection never to be approved for Harry & his family & purposely rejected to make him never return home is fckn lame. From your own family. The RF for sure would say they’re fckn brilliant , but they keep going lower and lower to the rest of the world. Salty island people cannot be down with this, it is cruel to a point I never would have imagined.Reply RoyalBlue says: January 17, 2022 at 10:33 am T his is it. They do not want the Sussexes to ever return to the island.TeamMeg says: January 17, 2022 at 1:14 pm Bonafide EXILE.Emma says: January 17, 2022 at 10:03 am I feel terrified for their safety and am also for the first time reconsidering how much the royals may have been involved in Diana’s death. Pretty grim all round.Reply Same says: January 17, 2022 at 11: am Diana got into a car with a drunk driver who then crashed in a tunnel and she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
The BRF had nothing to do with her poor decisions. She was a private citizen that had a security detail and she was in France.Reply equality says: January 17, 2022 at 11:52 am Her sister said Di was strict about fastening her seatbelt so why not that day, especially if the driver was speeding? Some reports say hers wasn’t working. Curious. Some also question if the driver was drunk and why the bodyguard would let somebody that obviously drunk drive if that were true.BabsORIG says: January 17, 2022 at 12:18 pm @ Same, yeah, keep repeating this talking point that the BRF put out after Dian’s was murdered, maybe it will become the truth, somehow.Tessa says: January 17, 2022 at 12:19 pm Rees Jones, the sole survivor was on the Al Fayed Payroll as bodyguard. He has amnesia and cannot remember what happened or how he let allegedly “drunk” Henri Paul get behind the wheel. Diana always buckled up and how come Rees Jones did not check the seatbelts first. ANd Diana had no part in the decision, when she was unconscious, and put in an ambulance that passed a hospital ten minutes away and it took a very long time to get her to a hospital when she was bleeding to death. Maybe the strap of the seatbelt did not reach around Diana’s waist even though the mechanism “buckled.” I think the BRF made the poor decisions, the way they treated Diana.sid says: January 17, 2022 at 3:05 pm Sorry Same, that story is no longer believable after everything we have learned about the ratchet royal family. Time for a new talking point.aftershocks says: January 17, 2022 at 7:47 pm ^^ Exactly @equality, tessa, @babsorig, and @sid. Watch the below investigative documentary which is well-researched. There are a lot of remaining questions: everything from problems with consistency and veracity of toxicology reports on the driver; to why did it take an hour for the ambulance to arrive at a hospital that was 10 minutes away; to the fact that witnesses were not followed up with by police; to the presence of a mysterious white vehicle that was seen in the tunnel at the time of the crash; plus the relevant identity of a man who was later found burned to death in a similar white vehicle. There’s a lot more that I won’t recite here. Watch the documentary: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmqUIkbEosYI believe Diana’s death was as a result of a sanctioned hit, but I’m not certain if any senior member of the royal family was directly involved. More likely, courtiers and U.K. gov’t spy agency signed off, and/or got someone in the family to sign off (possibly in an underhanded way).
Just like JFK’s assassination, there’s lots of damning evidence of a wide-ranging conspiracy with LH Oswald as the patsy, but there will never be full, final comprehensive, bulls-eye proof. However, the damning evidence in both cases is more than enough. Many people find it easier and more comforting to continue drinking the kool-aid.bettyrose says: January 17, 2022 at 9:25 pm I feel like everyone who was following the RF at the time of Diana’s death finds it hard to believe it was purely coincidental that she died just as she was on the verge of becoming their biggest headache ever. Diana in New York as an American celebrity? Diana remarried? Diana giving William and Harry siblings, possibly with the last name Fayed? Even if it wasn’t a calculated “hit,” someone was ensuring the circumstances were ripe for tragedy. I can’t fathom how anyone believes otherwise.Christine says: January 17, 2022 at 9:29 pm It’s cute that you are blaming Diana for her own death, 25 years on, Same. I’m sure that’s a huge comfort to the people who actually were impacted by her death. FFS, get a little perspective and a lot of critical thinking.

No one pays attention to this, so let me spell it out:
The French prefer to stabilize the person at the scene instead of taking them to the hospital right away. They tried to stabilize her as much as they could and if they had scooped her up right away, she would likely have died in the ambulance.

I think fans of Meg and Harry are in fact people who have SERIOUS resentment against either an establishment that has rejected them socially or are in a rebellious mood against their 'square' parents and have way too much energy and time on their hands. Harry's fans (much like Diana's fans) refuse to admit that Harry isn't a little boy anymore and being royal isn't what it used to be anymore and I think a lot of people are addicted to a drama that they somehow got infused with while young. Harry is struggling to come to terms with the reality that the world stage has no place for him anymore and I do not think that he is at a point where he can process this. His fans really do think that we live in an era where celebrity is king and the pandemic is killing that culture and sincerely think that his fans can't cope that their darling is a dud. I also think that like Diana, at the end of her life (she wasn't nineteen when she died) Harry will just sink lower and lower. Meg is low-rent and she's been exploiting him ever since.
