The Duke of Cambridge is understood to be disappointed that broadcasters are still making money from her bombshell chat with Martin Bashir on the BBC in 1995.
Producers were spotted outside the BBC's offices at New Broadcasting House in London filming a scene portraying events that followed the interview.

Amol Rajan – the BBC journalist who presented The Princes And The Press – made the incendiary remarks in articles written in 2012 for The Independent, the newspaper which he used to edit.
In one open letter to William and Kate, written after the couple announced they were expecting their first child, the self-declared republican urged them to 'renounce the luxuries of royal patronage and aristocracy', claiming that 'everyone will be a winner' if they do.
Although he congratulated the couple on the news of the pregnancy, he described their public role as a 'total fraud', adding: 'Neither of you have a special claim on the glorious city of Cambridge so quit pretending you do'.
He also suggested that rather than a 'vast palace', the duke and duchess should raise their family in a 'decent suburban townhouse' and should send their child to a 'normal school'.

How many more lawsuits does the court have to put up with? Every year the princes sue the press and I do not understand why this is allowed. As public figures, shouldn't the princes end up actually being really chill about this? Before he hooked up with the Middleton tart, William actually seemed chill about the press, but after Kate wormed her way in, it's been lawsuit central.

They think they are above it all - that they have the right to dictate the terms. It's beyond ridiculous how concerned they are. And it's every. little. thing.

But today, Rajan tweeted: 'In reference to very reasonable questions about some foolish commentary from a former life, I want to say I deeply regret it. I wrote things that were rude and immature and I look back on them now with real embarrassment, and ask myself what I was thinking, frankly…'
In a second tweet, he added: 'I would like to say sorry for any offence they caused then or now. I'm completely committed to impartiality and hope our recent programmes can be judged on their merits.'

I wish the media would have the stones to stop giving them coverage; more effective than a counter suit and it would likely end up giving the press a break from their troublesome behavior. It's not like WKHM give the press anything to work with anyway.

It’s a shame as they were without doubt the RF’s golden couple at the time with so much more to offer than the allegedly dull, inadequate Cambridges. They were halting the fast decline of the Monarchy too. The Cambs now being desperately pushed in the publics faces by their PR’s despite them sneaking off to yet another vacation by helicopter and private jets. If the Sussexes were constantly up and down in the helicopter and doing the same they would be slaughtered by the Press.

There will be no reunion as long as Harry is married to Meghan. Khhate will never tolerate him with any woman. She will not have it.

Her days with the family may be numbered, as she and her press team are getting even more ridiculous pumping out the positive stories about her. Quite frankly, wish the Cambridges/Sussexes and their daily games would fall into complete irrelevance - getting worn out trying to keep up with it all. I'm tired.

Oh, great, carrying out their games in another country - would that even be welcome?

Oh, great, carrying out their games in another country - would that even be welcome? Why can't they stay in their own country and Commonwealth?

Why can't they stay in their own country and Commonwealth? They wish to expand and make everybody miserable? I blame globalism as a culture; I blame even Diana to an extent. Why should she party in Paris when she should be partying in her own nation and Commonwealth? At the time of her era, there were sixteen Commonwealth nations at her feet along with the entire UK. Same with the rest of the BRF; they need to stay out of the US and stop trying to bring the culture of their childhood back.

Everybody wants a piece of the "Global Apple Pie" and may think that by gaining any access to the big American market is the way to do it. Yes, they should stay out of the US, as only seem to be using it (like they use other countries) for their own exposure. They aren't truly helping anybody and just causing more unneeded hassle and drama where there shouldn't be any. Just let people be, already.

Diana loved New York and Fergie loved to merch. The rest of them loved to milk us for donations and it is clear that the rest of the Commonwealth have no real interest to them. Right now they should stay in their own place and with the vaccine a failure, the pandemic might even be getting worse, not better.
