Princesses of Yore have always had the top educations, top training, top challenges and it is clear at least to me that Kate is nothing of the kind. She has lived a very pampered and sheltered life and she clearly has issues making positive adjustments to changing circumstances in her life. She is also immature and irresponsible for someone her age.
It does help that Kate, unlike her sister-in-law, has never tried to convince William that he is mentally ill, and bordering on the suicidal.
