Here in the States, I am on disability and I RESENT that women who CHOOSE not to work despite being healthy bodied and stable mental health, do not get stigmatized. In any sane society, people who are confirmed as being disabled would get coddling in terms of tolerance for being supported and women who refuse to work and contribute financially to the security of their families would be stigmatized. I also dislike how Kate is held up as the flower of ideal modern womanhood despite her history as Wiliam's beck and call bed-mate. As if its' all okay because she's middle class (at least her parents were, she made nothing of herself.).

It seems there are a lot of excuses for women like Kate - well, she's a mother, she's got to be there for William, and her royal duties, blah blah blah. Nobody should be stigmatized for being disabled, or unable to work. Our society is not very fair and reasonable, and how it treats it's most vulnerable citizens is a crying shame. Why her press team thinks she's the finest example of a modern woman and mother is beyond me. Here's a better moniker for her: Princess of the Parasites

I think this is the worst of it. She gets to pretend that 'being' is enough and ti's not; she is not disabled and all she has, she got it via her back and knees. She has really not done a day's work vertical and there are names for women like that. She is like a garden variety suburban soccer mom who has let herself go, makes no intimate effort with her husband, and it is clear that she really has no concept of wanting to do anything other than drift and grift. A lot of these women lose their marriages mainly since they make no real contribution to making it easier for their spouses. I LOATHE how they describe themselves as chef/chauffeurs/housekeepers/nannies and act like that they are the only ones working. And then the dolts want their overworked husbands to take out the trash and help with the household chores, as if the wives didn't have all DAY to do these things themselves. Kate really must think that she makes a solid contribution and so does the adherents of the values she embodies. "Being" isn't working and put bluntly, Kate isn't even around her husband all that much.
She is not a home maker since she does not make and maintain her home/s and she is just quaffing palace wines and munching gourmet foods. She refuses to work outside the home as required, she refuses to run the household as required and she will likely lose her marriage in a handful of years. William will not have any help from her and he will get sick of carrying her and her family. Second, the public will protest and the press will write her off and after that happens, indifference will give way to hostility. Kate new the drill, just as Diana did and Kate knew she would have to work. Instead, she plays at being a soccer mom on the taxpayer dime, which for some reason is considered socially acceptable.

Kate is being overly promoted by her desperate PR’s. It’s really beginning to backfire now and have a negative effect

I couldn’t finish voting as the squares wouldn’t accept my ticks. Most would have been filled in as the crotch flasher is totally unsuitable for the role.
