Hi, this is my first post and my take on this is that Kate has never been accepted by the upper crust. She is and will always be a parvenu in their eyes. I don't buy that she is so 'sugar and spice' as she is made out to be and perhaps people she has been snooty or horrible to over the years saw this as an opportunity to stick it to her in the nicest possible way of course! I also think all the talk of Carole 'being the mummy William always wanted' and the snark on Carole's taste and background means that it is definitely Kate and her mother who have kicked off and are behind the litigation threats.

Hi Esmerlda! I think you are spot on about Kate The Potato Head and Carole The Viper. They are a mean low cunning pair. I am so glad that Tatler ran this article. Especially the fact that it showcased the strange closeness that Willy Boy has with The Viper. Something is just not right there.

Welcome Esmerelda.
This I the first time have red about willy possible getting more than cheese and toast from Mummy Middleton but I think India raised a good point here. as for Tatler - is Meghan behind this as she is very close to a couple of people there ? Either way I think it is time a lot more abut this odious family came out and good for Tatler I say.

^ I do not think Meghan was involved in any way with the Tatler article. This was straight from the toffs who have been chomping at the bit to let The Viper and her lot have it. They are sick to death of her and having to put up with all of them and especially paying court to The Potato Head. It's been a long time coming and hopefully more to come out. And the toffs are well aware of the situation with the three fraudlings and you know they are not happy with that.

Who knows but I hear kate was blindsided as she is friendly with the editor. If so this just shows how people are turning at last. Maybe article was Tatler's idea and Meghan fed in a few tit bits

Tatler have said that it spoke to friends, staff and courtiers so these quotes must have come from credible sources, especially if they are standing by the story. I think if Kate had just been herself instead of trying to ape the accent and attitudes of the aristocratic set that she would have been OK. People might still have sneered that her family had to buy their own furniture and had no real bloodline apart from the distant link to the Luptons (who aren't aristos but merchants made good) but they would have respected her for being herself. The part in the article that states that Kate sees herself as part of the aristo tribe says it all. Let's face it, without William, none of these people would give her the time of day. She would have been like Pippa marrying into the Matthews family - wealthy but working/lower middle class made good people. In fact, that might have been better for her as she wouldn't even have had to put on the pretence of work or wanting to work. She would have been a very well off wife with a nanny and housekeeper/cleaner and plenty of free time and nobody to answer to. No matter how many times they repeat that she and William are a love story, I don't think she would have given him the time of day if he hadn't been who he was. Neither of the Middleton girls ever dated anyone who wasn't rich and/or titled! The aristos know fortune/status hunters when they see them only dim William couldn't! It doesn't say much does it that William's security detail used to refer to her as 'The Mattress' and Harry used to call her 'The Limpet'!

People would have been more tolerant if the awful Council Caro had kept right in the background and not jumped on to every possible opportunity. If she had been a sweet natured likeable woman it would have helped too. She acted out the happy family scenario to reel dumb willy in and the silly chump fell for it. Even his friends say the Midds wouldn’t have given him a second glance if he hadn’t been who he was and they still mimic the Midds behind their backs.

DM today www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8391871/Prince-William-Kate-Middleton-reveal-theyve-secretly-answering-helpline-phone-calls.htmlMost posts very scathing as below RonaldGrass024, Romania, United Kingdom, 5 minutes ago If I was in a crisis the last two people I'd want to speak with are W&K who between them have never had to work, have no life experience and are quite frankly boring people. What advice could they possible offer a real person who pays taxes? So many paid for sycophantic comments out there that it’s difficult to say. There are many deluded fans too. The astroturphers ones usually come from all over the world, often strange places and are more often sugary one liner compliments. It’s possible to employ people to do this and just at the press of a computer button umpteen gushing comments can be generated. It’s alleged that ma Midd is behind them.

Do we think the top sickly sweet comment is a paid comment or a genuinely deluded royal fan? Who knows but they do have paid astroturfers on DM and the forum that was taken down had posters who were clearly staff or family. They pretended to be ordinary housewives but clearly weren't. It was hilarious really
