On an official visit last week to a farm near the Welsh town of Abergavenny, the Duchess of Cambridge let slip a little-known snippet about her pedigree – she is descended from a goat farmer.
'I was looking into my ancestry and there was someone there who was a rare-breed goat farmer,' she said on a tour of Pant Farm, Llanvetherine, which supplies goat milk from its herd to a local cheesemaker. 'I'll have to find out which one it was. It was just after the First World War.'
Now The Mail on Sunday has done the work for Kate – and we can today reveal that she is indeed descended from a goat-breeder – though her forebears were hardly horny-handed toilers in the fields.

DM not understanding the meaning of the words 'ancestor' and 'descendant'. Kate is NO descendant of the two goat-herding sisters are they were cousins of her greatgrandmother. And ancestor is a person you have a direct blood relation with, because you descend from them. So Olive Lupton is an ancestor of Kate, she is a descendant of Oluve Lupton. She is related to the two goat-herding sisters.

I think the negativity is such that the DM can no longer erase it. Give it time, soon the DM will be pumping negative articles about her on the regular, especially if she moves to Berkshire/Windsor and walks out on her duties and other responsibilities.

The columnists at the DM will turn on her when there is nothing left for them to work with. If the Jubilee is a mess, Harry can't be blamed and Kate will start getting abuse once Kate hits forty-one and hasn't done a thing for the 12th year of her marriage. She's been a royal consort for nearly 12 years and she has done nothing for the UK. All it takes is one more scandal, one more mess, one more act of greed. The media in my view needs their subjects to work with them. With a few exceptions aside, the press loves those who sell, not those that are famous for being famous. There are two types of coverage, the kind of coverage that comes from popularity and the kind of press coverage that comes from respect. Kate has had coverage that comes from being popular and yet, Kate has failed to fulfill the kind of duties that would in fact inspire at least enough material to put her on the respectable papers. Since Kate refuses to work, she is slipping permanently into the 'famous for being famous' category. Realistically, she has no real protection anymore from the frustration of the public and her failure to provide any concrete help in these troubled times means that she will start getting mistreated in the way that famous for being famous people are. If someone like Diana can get crucified on the regular like she was after her divorce, how on earth is Kate safe once Kate is in that area of 'fame.'
