Given how welcome they are at the royal court, I am only going to choose to believe that the royals share the same views. The BRF had a golden chance with Meg to build better cultural ties with the US, but blew it and let Meg get harassed to the point where even Harry wanted to leave.

Meg was right about a lot of things; she had a right to dress how she wanted and I am sick of hearing about how her style choices were not 'royal.' Meg's choices were sleek and chic and she had a right to decide her style of dress. She had a right to dress in stuff that reflected her personality and seeing how Kate is now cosplyaing Meg's style, another slap in the face. It's like they get off on slapping Meg in the face. As for rampant American insults, yes, it is time that the US end up deciding if the UK is a viable geopolitical partner now that the BRF so clearly associates itself as anti-American and I hate how being American is some kind of drawback.

I used to be a huge anglophile but no more. With all of this sleaze allowed by the BRF is quite disturbing and the meaness to Meghan pushed me right over. The UK is a dissipated country which disgusts me.

The BRF was never going to get better than Meg; no one A-list in any field would be 'moldable' or pliable and would certainly not leave her profession. I do not think that the BRF was willing to accept that top level females are not supposed to be doormats and certainly, the BRF has not learned to appreciate the difference between well mannered/behaved/socialized and a willing doormat. Kate is idolized for being an ideal Windsor wife, but look at her uncouth behavior at public events. They thought Alphas would go after Harry, that marrying into that family was such an accomplishment, that the Windsors would not have to force their male heirs to make something of substance of themselves.

He married a woman who reminded me of my ex-boyfriend. He was part of a family that had been in that town for generations, but didn't want ot go into a wider world where he would be small potatoes. Kate is small potatoes and prefers to stay where she is big and does not have to make an effort. Like most of her class.

Kate will never let another woman outshine her (especially close to her own age and position) and the BRF work in a pecking order, so there will be minimal help if any at all for Harry's wife. Even Chelsy Davy, who was only dating Harry got trashed to hell and back and was painted as a shopaholic trust-fund bimbo party-girl despite the fact she actually studying, had jobs and was well adjusted. |

The palace is not treating their members with the respect that they should. Either they treat senior members with the respect that should come with the title or they will sink and they are choosing to sink. As a royal prince, as in the most direct succession, Harry should have been better protected and should have been far better if they treated their royals the way that they should have been. If Harry had been better protected from himself and others he never would have floundered. Charles was busy with Camilla (as usual) and William was busy screwing up his own life. |
