I admit, just my estimation. She seems to be quite fond of her privacy, so I think she will try to keep her private life separated from her royal activities. My impression is that she sees being royal just an interesting job. The idea that she wants to be a second Diana (with all the media exposure) is to my opinion based on nothing and is by the way also not what the Queen wants.

Until the end of 2012 PW still is based in Wales. After that I think the Queen will demand that he and WK return to London. Can they cope with that? Well, I have more doubts about PW than about WK. And being criticized is no problem for her, what do you think of Waity Katy, Kate Middletrash, Lazy Katy, etc. PW could become a bigger problem, my feeling has always been that he joined the army to escape royal life.

I disagree to some extent. Kate (and William) like the press when it suit them. Probably she will play with the press as Diana did when she wants, the problem is that if it goes wrong the people are not going to forgive her as they did with Diana because they don't have any connection with her and I doubt that they will ever have.
Yes Kate is hard but the BRF is harder and the courtiers are diamond hard, if she thought that she was going to have any control now she is in for a big surprise. Although I think she will just go with the flow.

The problem is, that Diana got burned time and time again throughout her life as she played with the media. When Diana had her HRH she was protected by a modicum of deference, but after, she was soon turned into a sex object and objectified and insinuated about and then of course dead. Kate is entering the RF stripped of dignity and no one will be sincere in their deference to her, it will only be perfunctory. The press will hound her for comments after finding out one horrific thing after another about her family is exposed and she will have no luck in finding sympathy or comfort.

Must you use the 'f' word? :KEZZA: As I posted before, there is nothing to be gained, except perhaps in your own mind, by denigrating Diana in order to make Kate look better. Kate should be able to stand on her own merits. Putting someone down to make another look better is not a nice thing to do. To most of us here, Kate has far too many character flaws for it to work - we are not sitting on the fence, like they do at other forums.
For the record: Diana only had other sex partners after her marriage failed, when she was miserable, very lonely and most likely very confused at how she had been used.
Spitfire: right on the money, my friend. :thumbsup: Kate knew exactly what she was doing, IMO, when she sashayed down that runway. She was reeling in the fish, IMO - and too bad William took the bait.
The Queen allegedly stated that Kate was loved the limelight a little too much. Kate just loves the cameras and puts her mug in front when it suits her - she'll be blissfully happy once she's HRH and can really show off, IMO. She also appears to have a high opinion of herself too, hanging in for all those years, gambling on getting a ring from HRH Prince William. :whistle:

I don't think Ma Midds will let her go with the flow - she hasn't schemed & planned to get her daughter in the RF just to sit back & watch from a distance. I expect Waity will be stuck between the courtiers who will expect her to toe the party line & Ma Mugly pushing to be included in the activites of the Court. I don't want to even imagine that level of stress.....

The problem is, Kate is TRYING to be the new Diana and if HM wanted or didn't want a certain thing, HM should have been more involved in the life of William the minute Diana died. Sooner even. If HM had deigned to lift a finger, Kate would have been out of William's life.

If it were only a bikini she wore on the catwalk. There are 2 different outfits Kate wore down that catwalk. I've got pictures of both of them. Both of them are UNDERWEAR not OUTERWEAR. She wore that now infamous black see through skirt and at the same event she danced around in a white bra and knickers with some random guy on the catwalk in front of the audience. Then theres the picture of her sitting on the floor at a party in Scotland with a white sleeveless ski jacket on and just her black UNDERWEAR on underneath - nothing else. Would you like me to post them? Í never saw pictures of Diana in her undies. :rolleyes:

To the bolded bit --> I am doubtful. Kate only dislikes the cameras when it's convenient to her. A newspaper commentator once wrote a piece berating Kate and Carole Middleton for calling the photographers to tell them where she'd be. He said that Kate needed to decided what was important to her, her privacy or need to have positive images of herself in the media.
Let's just call a spade a spade --> The media are whitewashing this good for nothing lazy, spoilt trollop as something special. A princess an idle ho not maketh IMO. She's a posh slag who's willing to sleep her way into a royal title end of story. She thinks she's the biz and she loves herself enormously, so much so she flaunts her androgenous figure at every opportunity.
