Pipps has been less keen to call the papps on speed dial (to the end of this report her on her waste of time life) since every time she does, questions are being asked about her FIL’s pending Court case for alleged rape and assault. Has Betty quashed it again? I guess unlike the usual M#dds perhaps she has a bit more shame and brains and wouldn't want to call attention to things? |

Sooooo much is going to come out once Betty passes ... the filing cabinets must be overflowing with stuff the papers can't wait to release when that happens.
Pippa sure does have mean eyes. Mean, beady little eyes like her mother. There were rumours about her husband being similar to his father in more ways than one but I've only read it in one place (another forum). I do know that he was in a longish term relationship with his PA before he married Pippa.

HM made one of her phone calls and the consequences disappeared. I wonder if this is when Pippa made it clear that she was never going to be one of the aristocratic crew since they kind of left her to hang out to dry over this.

Everyone saying that one of QE’s famous ‘phone calls got her FIL off the hook regarding his abuse and rape accusations. There was some talk of it still happening in France but she may have suppressed it there as she did the Pippa’s friend’s gun toting incident some years back.

I wonder if he exes get satisfaction knowing that Pippa didn't get the titles she aimed for. No duchess status for her, no fat bank account (her husband is likely rich, but not a borderline billionaire), and after her wedding, no more top level types have been seen around her. Her wedding was her social swan song. She got invites to royal events, but that was due to William's bullying on her behalf, not true acceptance. It's not like she is even covered all that much anymore.
What I find mind boggling is how she obtained and BLEW a half million pound book deal and basically 'laughed it off' as if like one of the Toffs, that she didn't need to make a living. She blew off Ellen and Oprah and supposedly didn't even WRITE the book itself. I mean really, blowing off all that exposure and she was supposedly partying more than promoting the book and the main press coverage was about her trying to conquer society and not trying to show off the book to the relevant market.

She treated Loudon like dirt after the 2011 wedding and I was shocked that after he broke up with her, Pippa's press buddies smeared Loudon's MOTHER in the press by saying that Loudon's mother didn't think Pippa was good enough for her son. He didn't take her back though and she became renowned as the town tramp of the London social scene.

You know, the more monarchical Pippa tried to make her wedding, the more she must look moronic. A lot of aristos and gentry have nice weddings in family chapels and enjoy low-key approaches. Pippa was hyping her wedding like crazy and it was pathetic since it was SO obvious that she was dying to have a photocall and was dying to be fawned over and chased by the paps and was DYING to be hyped as a new duchess to be like her sister. William bullied the Yorkies into going and bullied the brother and who knows who else, but thing is, that for all that Pippa wanted all this, it was never going to happen. Common as muck, but with her backhistory, she isn't someone who people would want to publicly associate themselves with. The Arabs she allegedly got mixed up with, the French aristocrats, and the others were never going to be seen dead around her.
As for Harry, she went after him like gangbusters and it was so shameless. People seemed to forget that she was practically engaged to Loudon and she ran after Harry and Percy and no man with any sense would want to marry someone who could not be trusted to be faithful while he works like crazy in an office. She behaved like a streetwalking tramp who was messing around while her husband works hard putting food on the table and clothes on her trifling back. She wasn't with just Harry, but PERCY and it is clear that to any thinking man that she wouldn't be trustworthy. She then hooked up with Charlie Astor, but he dumped her after she apparently danced with another guy and her nipple nearly fell out. Then there were others, but it is clear that they dropped her after a few months. She just can't keep herself together.

I think this is another reason no one wants her around; why go to a party if you are going to SNUB the other guests? It is clear that after a few parties with Pippa there and putting up with her BS, that Pippa got dropped completely and is now basically a domestic recluse except with her family and husband's family. I do believe that there are a lot of others that got sick of her airs/graces and I do believe that it is telling that not one decent man from a truly decent family wanted anything to do with her. Of that I am certain. You would think that a clean living, stable family would have married her, but since she doesn't work and makes messes of her life, it is clear that she is not at all wanted by any decent family anywhere.

Thing with Pippa, is that she didn't work and prove that she was good enough to be taken seriously, she insisted on being treated as one of the crew despite not having anything to back it up. She had zero big bucks, wasn't living a more sophisticated life (nightclubs in college towns, no matter how good, are not at all cosmopolitan) and she was overeager to be seen with the 'right' people despite the fact that people usually resent being props and often would dislike (as would anyone with common sense) being pressured to marry someone who has no intention of making any kind of contribution. It's like wanting an Olympic gold medal and yet not even getting in to basic physical shape. Pippa wanted to marry JJ Jardine before graduating uni despite the fact that he had goals and plans as well and it is clear that Pippa didn't think that he had a RIGHT to live a full life and build his own serious career, she wanted into marry her and pay her way and the way of her family through life. She has never really wanted to accept that in order to get what you want, you have to work for it and it is clear that she refuses to accept that the world doesn't owe her a lifestyle. She wanted a ducal title, she wanted riches, she wanted so much, but she (like her sister and brother) refuses to accept that despite the business like approach towards marriage, she is someone who offers nothing in return for what she wants. With the genuine upper tier, they prefer to just marry their own kind and prefer to live a stable staid life. It should be clear that Pippa isn't one of them and never will be, but she just keeps trying and it's pathetic.

I wonder if she has anyone left who wants to be around her. She ditched genuine friends for a set that will not have her and it is clear that she is very alone. Her FIL's actions will be reflected on her and it is clear that she has reached a point where all she will have left is the dubious 'love' of her family and the continued tolerance of her husband's family. She has no real career, no real place in the society she still yearns to be part of, and it is clear that she is very restless and unsatisfied. I would feel sorry for her since she has been treated as second rate her whole life, but she did have the ability to break away from it at several points in her life.
