I just remember that I read on a forum that before the marriage James pay all Pippa's debts. Now the question. How on Earth could she has debts if she was supported by her parents? This is all about PP I guess. As Kate and family were described as "self-made millionairs" and "upper-middle class" I guess they were never it, just pretended. At the times of Amazon I wonder if someone really orders there. That's why Kate never donates her own money - she just doesn't have it. Charles pays their bills - and yeah it's much more than usual family. But I think it's still not hers. It's clear because she has no classy expensive jewels - William doesn't present it her and she can't buy by herself. For sure camp Cambs is spreading rumors she just doesn't like jewels too much that's why she buy kiki mcdonough etc. But look at her uni years- she always wear some ridiculous bijouterie. Plus she takes crown jewels, never refuse it. But her own jewels and money she doesn't have. I think they all just wait for putting their hands to duchy of cornwall. The same about Pippa. Carole and Mike doesn't have that much money to live life they pretend to live. That's why she had debts IMO
I think they were upper middle class; not wholly unable to afford nice things, but their faces were against the glass seeing the upper class life and they (understandably) kind of went crazy about it. Instead of doing honest work, building or real trades and investing in income, they ended up mooching and tried to avoid work, thinking that it would make them just like the upper classes. Regrettably, they can put on airs, but that will not make them one of the upper echelons at all. It takes work and takes honest labor and the Midds shied away from that for some odd reason. If either Kate or Pippa had had any real brains, they would have both ended up knowing this, but they wanted to latch on and pressurize young men to care of them as if they were entitled to be taken care of in fine style. This wasn't about love or having a home and building a good family life, this is about someone footing the bills so they can party all the time. There is no way that Pippa wanted to marry a rich guy to be a supportive spouse, she wanted to latch on while young so the guy would pay her bills while she social climbed. Or just blew his family money on shopping sprees or paying her family's bills. Imagine being married to a wife who has a mooch brother and a mother who would park her arse in the house and demand newly hired staff to get her Chibilis at six, 'on the dot.' I would blow a gasket and yet oddly, this is something that is supposed to be socially acceptable. I dated a guy who was upper middle class and in retrospect, he did not treat me well. It was brief, but before we started officially dating, he did send some signals and behaviors that I never previously noticed. Whew, his dumping me was a blessing in disguise.
Back on topic, Pippa is the kind of person that just cannot cope in a marriage where she would have to contribute. A guy who would pay her bills and none else would make anyone question his integrity and men with sincere megabucks, work like CRAZY to want to support financially a woman like that along with her family.

If Charles lets that long necked ugly thing get near the Duchy money then he is the biggest effing fool in the world. Chuck put too much of everything in his Duchy: job, heart, efforts. I think he knows who William is and especially who middletons are. I believe he won't give W&K duchy as well as PoW right after hi is king. Sorry, Pips, no duchy money  |

There was talk at certain dinner parties that she wasn’t close to Mike Middleton either as she was alleged to be the product of Carole’s alleged affair with an Asian businessman. Those who know her well say that in the flesh she does have a very Asian look and stance.
