So, Harry has another bung of cash handed to him via his father and for the life of me I do not know why the British press cover the royals anymore. If I were an editor, I would prefer to just boycott the ducal couple of Sussex and cite liability issues. If the press had decided to boycott coverage of princess Diana due to the risk of lawsuits stemming from accusations of harassment, I bet you anything that the BRF would stop jerking the press around. One minute the BRF is leaking or behaving badly and then they are suing the press for the millionth time. I blame Diana and Fergie for breaking ranks and messing with the press without realizing just how much they were letting the press into the lives off areas of their lives that should be off limits. Now all these idiots marrying into these families have no self-control and think that toying with the reputations of prominent people is something that is some game. Diana toyed with and destroyed Charles' reputation and then Camilla trashed Diana in the press and Fergie messed with herself and ended up ruined. Then there is the fact that Sophie shot her mouth off to a fake Sheik that should have been vetted before a meeting and then there is the fact that Kate is all over the press covertly leaking trash while William does the same.
Then they sue the press for doing underhanded things although if royals followed the rule book there would not be any kind of mess and it isn't the media causing this mess.

Then they sue the press for doing underhanded things although if royals followed the rule book there would not be any kind of mess and it isn't the media causing this mess. This back and forth, love/hate relationship with the press is just so tiresome. More relevant and important things in life need to be dealt with; Harry's sense of outrage/victimhood is not very high on a what is an extremely long list. I cannot understand why this even HAS to take up so much of the courts' time - regular people can sometimes wait for years to get their day, but Harry seems to be taking up a helluva lot of time. The world is imploding, innocent people are having their lives turned upside down, and yet, his focus is very narrow: How the big bad press used his poor innocent mother/doing the same thing to his precious wife, and we'll never hear the end of it. Lay people don't have the luxury to sit back, choose to sue those who've done them wrong, have the ability to afford the rent/mortgage, let alone a big name celebrity/whatever lawyer, etc, etc, yet here we have Harry with seemingly a load of free time to pick and choose his fights, and even take on a few more? Taking every little victory and pushing his luck even further? It doesn't take that much to embolden him, eh? The BP actually knows more about the Sussexes/Cambridges/BRF that they will ever let on. If Harry, William, etc, want to try to play the press who, quite frankly, has been VERY lienient with them because they want to settle some score or grudge from their past/save Mummy Diana, then they just may unleash something that will seriously backfire on THEM, not the King, not the rest of the BRF. Neither William or Harry are especially intelligent (being Spencers and all) and they never HAD to learn how to read people or situations properly. Everything they seem to do is just an impulstive reaction to how they perceive themselves to be treated. They are not ever expecting to "do without" and so used to getting their way. See, they "deserve" a nice and cushy life and cannot deal with the fact that any kind of "normal" life is anything but. It's hard, unfair and downright ugly at times. People are going to sh#t on you and there is nothing you can do about it. So stinking unfair and nasty and that "normal" people spend a great deal of their lives just trying to keep going and have a semblance of a decent life. These people don't have the time to run crying about the big, bad media, or celebrity figure writing something that kinda/sorta/ya know hurt your feelings. Harry and Meghan seem to have so much free time and honestly, if I had a multi-million dollar contract, I would be working my a## off driving to deliver what I could. Royalty or not, I just don't see Harry being that especially gifted, courageous, selfless, intelligent or altruistic. No, he is NOT "King" material - that is way beyond laughable to even suggest. He and his brother don't get a free pass through life just because they dropped out of Diana's behind. They are simply not that amazing.

Harry and Willaim fascinate me.
Their upbringings is similar to that of a suburban snowflake and Willaim and Harry were raised with the delusion that washing cars was relevant, that they were in need of career advice, that they needed time to grow and develop. In the meantime, they are smashing up one area of life after another and I sincerely believe Daina was the worst thing to happen to the monarchy along the lines of never trying to fix her inner contradictions. Diana is the reason that royals are supposed to toe the line and do as they are told and commit themselves to a life of training so in the event of an emergency, that they are able to call on those contacts to help fix things and hold society together. Diana is the reason you should not marry an ingenue and you can't have it both ways. I blame Diana for exposing her sons to a life that is not theirs to live. It is not their life to jet set, or indulge in activism, and I blame Diana for not making sure her sons were acclimated to their natural area of life. If William and Harry had been kept in the Windsor and royal way of life, they would not have lived aimless empty lives. By now, Harry and Willaim should be fixtures at state events, going to as many dinners as possible, used to attending events like State Opening of Parliament and I think Diana failed to cement herself in the royal way of life and proceeded to wreck things that can't be fixed now. William should not have been living on campus and he should not have been allowed to have off campus living or roommates. He should have been made to commute to and from school while living on a formal royal estate and should have been drilled in changing his attitude. I blame Diana for raising her sons outside their real comfort zone and I blame her for bringing that kind of chaotic behavior as acceptable.
Notice how he isn't suing the American press; he is not suing the American media and he is not at all trying to go up against the American media establishment. He wouldn't survive it and second, his Netflix deal is going to be ended. Netflix has been waiting for three long years and he has brought nothing to the table. His recent 'successes' have been nothing but messy and he can't keep selling more of himself. He can't keep pulling more stunts and he can't keep pushing work aside for more lawsuits. The next time he sues or ignores his work I hope Netflix balls up and grows up and chooses to drop him and his loony wife.
