SETTLING ROYAL SCORES - PRINCE WILLIAM VS THE BRITISH PRESS

Why does he hate the press so much? He has been suing them all the time and making threats and he never quits. In my view, royals should be banned from suing the press mainly since they are public figures, and they are robbing people of their ability to save their own hard-earned money. I blame Fergie and Diana for this and quite frankly since them, it has been a never-ending courtroom drama. Each time the old guard retires, that is less interest focused on him. One thing about this new world order that we are moving into is that anyone in any position of authority is expected to have a purpose commiserate with their role. For the past twenty years of his life William has determinedly thrown away any chance to segue into a role of responsibility and a role of purpose and specific focus. He has nothing that will justify press coverage. 

Even celebs are less chased than they used to be and it is clear that even former top-level entertainers are not as harassed. Some press is out there of course, but it is less manic. The more he shoves the press away, the more he is in fact laying groundwork, not for retaliation, but indifference. At some point the press will move on and the press will change. The press will find someone new to adore and he will be left out in the margins of tabloid coverage and of who knows what else. Then he will try to get press coverage and adoration, but he will be ignored or told that he isn't interesting to them.
