One thing I do believe, is that William married his biggest fan, which is always a mistake. He married someone who is probably under personal pressure to be a perfect idol prince and can't really be the kind of guy that he really is around Kate. Kate is clearly still acting like a fan-girl and she never really did anything other than use him and she still uses him. She used him to get into the best nightclubs, she used him to get into Hurlingham, and she uses him to act out her victim ingenue fantasies. She is still fixated on being the 'one' who landed the guy all the other women wanted (despite the fact that the ones he wanted never would willingly adjust to his timeline or put up with his BS angst) and she can't seem to stop trying to make everyone envy her. She just drove out her own SIL and BIL and still can't seem to see the hostility that certainly must be building up around her. I truly believe that she is still unaware that she is about to experience a huge crash. I also believe that she got pretty arrogant and thought that she and the aristos are 'one,' but that Tatler article was the way for the aristos to point out just how wrong Kate is and that likely triggered something in her. I do believe that she has reached a point where the holidays will be spent with the Midds, but she might show up to her office one day and find her staff dispersed and office area locked against her. She has kept crossing one line after another and it is clear that she really gets off on harassing people. Someone on Celebitchy mentioned that the TATLER article was the way the aristos reminded Kate of her real place in their perspective and it is clear that she hasn't handled that reality check well.

She went on behalf of the charity Tommy’s (which is not one of her patronages) to highlight Baby Loss Awareness Week. Tommy’s funds research into miscarriages, stillbirths and premature births. It’s a surprisingly deep and solemn cause for Kate to brush up against. She is the patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, which is also quite a serious issue for Kate. Kate spoke to many families who have dealt with miscarriages and premature births, and she also highlighted the research being done at Imperial College London with some photo-ops in the lab.

I think Kate is just like an actress who has been aging out of a role that she has been playing for far too long. The perpetual ingenue and the perpetual 'trier' and it is clear that she just can't do it anymore. The 'keeness' and the grand visions of tours filled with balls and receptions and glittering galas. Every single tour she has done has been half-arsed and it is clear that the palace and other heads of state are not going to go out of their way to make much of her presence. She hasn't been to any kind of grand ball except when it comes to the Jubilee receptions, but that was not a ball that included dancing and best fig. She clearly isn't being given a huge clothing budget and it is clear that she is making one bad choice after another. She reminds me of an actress or old-style posh girl from the pre-WWWI era; she has literally nothing other than the clothes that she wears as an empty shell playing a role. She has no work substance, not backstory in her family history that would give her entree, and she has refused to grow out of her uni years. The only thing she knows how to do is grub for more perks and it is clear that she isn't getting much of anything else either.

I think Kate made their lives difficult in her own swotty way and it is clear that she was not going to welcome Cressida or Chelsy and 'let' them have their basic human/civil right at a peaceful marriage and stable home life. During the BS Meg was being put through, Kate ramped up her own hype about how she was all about "Duty/God/Country" and how she was SO much more classy and iconic (a word that is far too overused) and how Kate was SO ready as Future Future Queen. It was almost like she got off on the comparisons and made the absolute most of it. She really ganged up with her family to drive that kid out.

This is just Carole & Kate paying the tabloids to drum up baby speculation to try and convince others to have a fourth bc Kate needs lots of babies with a man who doesn’t want her bc she thinks it will keep her marriage together. It won’t & no one cares about Kate having more kids. She’s just jealous Eugenia is pregnant and she’s not. Plus her marriage is hanging on by a thread. |

She's not even the Princess of Wales; she's still Duchess of Cambridge and even as Queen, she will be Queen CONSORT, not Queen REGNANT. She's nearly forty and still WAY behind in terms of work and charitable accomplishments. I also think that it is clear that she's deeply unhappy. I don't think she was ever happy being William's drinking buddy and I don't think she was happy being his clubbing companion. I also believe she is DYING to be treated as Diana was, but that will never happen. She will never get that level of respect, leeway, and it is clear that Charles will never grant her the budget she dreamed of having once married. Still in top-shop or badly made clothes. I also believe that she was deeply hurt at the stuff she likely did in order to be able to keep him and I wonder how comfortable she was parading partially naked to get his attention.

More playtime for Kate. This is what taxpayers are paying for; I am resentful that people bash the disabled for getting help and demand cuts, but go figure, Kate and Co. are supported by the taxpayer and it is clear that they expect adulation and even more money. Kate has time to take her kids to a museum, but not time to take her arse to appearances or what charities she has left.
