I wager that celebs are going to turn the Cotswolds into the new Hamptons and basically trash the place with garish McMansions and pave over the greenery. If I had his cash I would pay for a world class education and I would be more than glad to travel to the cultural hot spots all around the world. Meanwhile this idiot poses like a moron wearing white shoes in the dirty countryside and they just can't enjoy a quiet life, they issue press releases for every little detail.

If this is true than this is truly pathetic. They were amongst a sea of a thousand invites. Being invited to a royal wedding especially one that is a state wedding does not mean you are bffs. I doubt David was anything clpse to them other than the occasional photo op.

Although there are always exceptions, I agree with you: what a difference between a 21 year old pampered guy and a 25 year old woman. His brain’s frontal lobe isn’t even fully developed for another 4 years!

This seems like made-up drama to generate interest in the wedding, because I had honestly forgotten there was a Beckham wedding coming up in the (relatively) near future.

SIR and Dame/Lady will likely not happen anytime soon. I read Beckham shot himself in the foot with some leaked emails showing that he truly isnt as nice as he would like people to believe. He was bitching to some charity how all his ridiculous expenses should be covered by them.

Why is it that the Beckhams want the royals there? What is it that they fixate on so much about the BRF? It should be clear by now that the BRF does not view them as social equals and why is Victoria trying to turn this into some kind of state event?

He had a good run, but he never really contributed in ways that would have built solid goodwill and kept him out of trouble. It is clear that he is someone who has basically ended up having a heck of an amazing career, but squandered it on becoming a kind of celebutante who ignored his game and fans in favor of his ditzy wife's dream of top tier celebrity. Regrettably he didn't get in deep with charity and never did the hard work involved in earning those gongs.
