If anyone's title should be removed it is William for all that he has done.

There is a very interesting and true story about the man below who should have been king instead of QE. It goes right back to I think King Richard and the two different lines of succession. There was a very interesting TV documentary on it some years ago and can probably still be found on YouTube - some details below
Michael Edward Abney-Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun (22 July 1942 – 30 June 2012), was a British-Australian farmer, who is most noted because of the documentary Britain's Real Monarch, which alleged he was the rightful monarch of England instead of Queen Elizabeth II. en.m.wikipedia.org › wiki › Michae... Michael Abney-Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun ... Feedback

Mantel was wrong about Kate, but only in the context of Kate being like a 1500's consort. Kate is nothing like those consorts. They were highly literate, heavily educated, and trained to rule as Regents while their husbands were away. It is clear that Kate would be more like a tavern wench or scullery maid. Not anywhere near a consort. Kate just lacks spark, a genuine interest in education, and it is clear that she prefers to do and be nothing. How on earth anyone could consider Kate like a consort of the 1500's is beyond me. Kate doesn't even run her own household! Kate would never have handled being a consort at that time since she wouldn't have had anything to stand on. Anne Boleyn was as clever as they came and had a ton of amazing traits, but even she couldn't handle being Queen Consort.

Victoria wasn't a pretty woman, Albert was a handsome man. I have met Simon Abney-Hastings, he's a jolly nice bloke. His family has more right to the throne than the current RF. Queen Victoria accused one of her ladies in waiting of being pregnant by Sir John Conroy, Lady Flora Hastings had a tumour in her stomach, and she died, that didn't endear Victoria to the people.

I'm sure there is always going to be a debate in the UK about who the "rightful" heir should be - as the Succession has changed countless times, etc.

There was a programme on TV over a year ago showing that the true King was an Australian who left England, Hastings I think and who was an aristocrat. It was something to do with the Tudor and Stuart line. I will try a and find it for here. It was extremely plausible
