I view her as the Latina Julia Roberts. I think she had a great amount of ability as a character actress, but she threw that away on marketing herself so much that she stopped taking acting seriously. During the promotion of "Hustlers," she acted all 'street' and during Oscar season, she worked HARD to promote herself as a nominee. I do not believe that she is someone who is a serious actress worth the big bucks that she gets for starring roles. Just pathetic.

I do not believe that she is someone who is a serious actress worth the big bucks that she gets for starring roles. Just pathetic. Isn't she married to Alex Rodriguez? Anybody who appreciates sportsmanship in baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays knows what a colossal jerk he really is. Believe it or not, this is still remembered. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Rodriguez2007 "On April 23, Rodriguez became the first player in major league history to hit 14 home runs in a span of 18 games, and also tied the MLB record for most home runs in April. His total of 34 RBIs in April was one short of Juan González' AL and MLB record.[citation needed] In a game against the Toronto Blue Jays on May 30, Rodriguez sparked controversy when he shouted during a routine play and an infielder let a pop fly drop, costing the Blue Jays three runs. The Yankees went on to win the game, 10–5.[79] On July 12, Rodriguez hit his 150th career home run in a Yankees uniform. This made him the first, and so far only, player in major league history to ever hit 150 home runs for three different teams.[80] He became the third player to hit at least 100 home runs for three teams, following Reggie Jackson and Darrell Evans.[81]"

And just because I really don't think my lone opinion that Lady Gaga's rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner warrants a new thread, will just include it here. It was poorly-done and her gesturing was overly-dramatic and drew away from the moment. She made it about herself and not the inauguration. And nothing against the woman, but didn't care for it one bit.

I have no idea. I do know however that she's part of a generation of Hollywood names that do not really respect the craft of acting. Jennifer did great as an actress at first, but it is clear that she prefers to do stuff like dance music and stupid perfume/clothes junk that are just a way to get more money (when she isn't trying to milk the studios for MORE money and perks). Her list of demands is disgusting and quite honestly, it is clear that she is asking for more than she's worth. She gets millions for more films and the films are generic romantic comedy crap and it is clear that she and her generation need to be replaced with a better trained, better educated generation of actors and actresses who do not try to be vaunted 'triple threats.' She has no business actually getting a fat check that eats up the budget of the film and then demanding that studios pay for a plush hotel suite and who knows what else. It's such a slap in the face and it is clear that she is not worth that kind of money.
