They have done nothing! I am sick of this demented narrative that the Midds somehow made William! William was already made, he just needed to go out and work and move along in life.

All the Midds did was right reel the poor naive grieving fool in and play the happy family scenario to finally ensnare him.

Should be called "When the Middletons Stalked the Monarchy." I am sick of this narrative where all William needed in life were the homely delights that only a middle class family can give. A total slap in the face to the life that Diana and Charles gave them and William wasn't always dressed in little suits; in public, yes, but in private I am sure he ran around in simple rompers. The Midds wouldn't have been able to hire good nannies and if he had been born in to the Middleton family, I am sure he would have been under HUGE PRESSURE to move up the social ladder. William is also determined to avoid facing the ugly little fact that if he hadn't been a prince, the Midds would have treated him very differently.
