Good find!  Kind of ironic you found it - I went over to it and even noticed a few posts that must have been from me. I forgot I even posted back then. How time flies. I wonder why she has such a grandiose sense of self? We could chat about that. Where does that kind of insecurity come from? Unlike her, I apparently am distantly related to practically all royal families in Europe. But I am solidly middle-class and don't think anybody is better than anybody else. Not me to become Marie Antoinette-ish *apparent royal relation* But seriously, back to our Grand Lady of Gatwick, who is truly this insecure and hateful to shun one's innocent family?  |

^ When you are a gutter snipe that is what you do. You shun your family and you suck up to those that you perceive are of a higher class and station. And do not forget that she is mean. Mean, low and common. Not a kind charitable bone in her Viper body. And you just can't change a person like that. She is what she is. She's A VIPER.

I also think it was Carole who was obsessed with the royal family and aristocracy. After all, as an air hostess, she would have been waiting on ladies who were descended from or married to wealth and bloodlines and I bet she resented it hugely, especially as she was "Lady Dorothy's' daughter and raised to social climb. This article from the Daily Mail about the Midds sniffing round Camilla's old home some years ago just goes to show how obsessed. I don't believe for one moment they were going to buy it but they wanted to see it, experience it and imagine themselves at those house parties where young Diana, Camilla and Charles' lives and fates intertwined. Kate is her mother's daughter and she was after the big prize with William from the get go but I think the obsession started with the Viper years before and I bet she couldn't believe her luck when Kate started living with William. When QE first met Council Caro and Mike after
the passing out parade at Sandringham she was alleged to have made some derogatory remarks about Carol but also said ‘he (Mike) wasn’t quite so bad’!
Carol plotted and planned from as early as possible to get Kate to meet willy. She even sent her on the same gap year course (but missed it by a year). She was said my those in the know to have even changed Kates’s place at uni from Edinburgh to St Andrews. Once Kate took him home to meet her parents Carol set out to create the scenario of the perfect family and poor dumb willy fell for itvand was totally reeled in.
If it wasn’t for the fact that the RF were walking on eggshells after the plunge in popularity after Diana's death they would have put a stop to it but thy really didn’t think either that he would marry such an ordinary looking girl with no charm or warmth but one who could be a credit to the RF.
The excerpt from one of the quotes above says it all about Carol
‘In the eyes of Joanne a relative of Kate, Carole has become too grand to care about Joanne’s family.
Invitations to family occasions have gone unanswered, elderly relatives remain unvisited. Carole no longer bothers with her godchild.
The Callens have never even met Prince George.

Sadly for Carol she looks extremely common and no amount of ‘work’ will change that. He face can be seen a thousand times on sink estates around the UK. Staff say she barks orders at them totally unaware that most are better educated and come from better backgrounds than hers. Fellow students at her old comprehensive in
Southall said she spoke completely differently then too but was equally nasty, mean and determined in those days.

Even Uncle Gary seemed to be included more than these rather tame and harmless family members. CC is rather a ruthless being, it seems - you don't turn on family no matter what. I haven’t got any links to the Southall comprehensive days but it’s generally thought they were shut up somehow. The only thing I have heard about the BA days was that she set her sights on bagging a pilot but they allegedly saw her for what she was so she settled for Mike a dispatch handler.

Just before Kate’s wedding there was a channel 4 programme on about Kate’s relatives. It’s probably still on YouTube. They were a very ordinary mostly working class bunch but mostly pleasant and harmless. They all seemed bewildered that they had all been unceremoniously dumped. One was a hairdresser, another a fish and chip shop owner or employee and a rather sweet old lady somewhere in the north plus others. The way Carol had disowned them said everything about her and willy should have been warned what a nasty social climber she was. She apparently really sucked up to him and catered to his every whim even giving up her double bedroom for them.
