The hyper-promotion of her into being the focal point/savior of the BRF is just ridiculous. I just posted another item in the Queen Kate... remaking thread. Lay people, and I mean not royal insiders/followers, etc, especially can see right through her and don't seem even close to impressed with her. I'll post some of the comments and you will see what I mean. |

I think it's the old guard media who refuse to move on and accept that William and Kate are a couple of duds; still trying to live up to the 80's 90's era where media was king and it was easy to get rich off of the royals. If the majority of the old guard were to retire, coverage would be nil at best and hostile at worst. William is at 39, forty next year, and he has done nothing, contributed nothing, and basically has failed to help anyone in any significant way, and has refused to grow out of his childhood like any other healthy adult. A total, typical cliche.

I think Kate would really really wish to no longer be like this, but her sexuality still remains a focal point. I find it pathetic that Kate was never moved up in terms of dates in the area of nice restaurants and cafes and theater/ballet/opera and still was in the cheap clubbing scene. She might have preferred to go to the opera or ballet in a limo while wearing a lovely gown, but she ended up stuck in the club scene. I think it hurt her, but she refused to up her status by working and making anything of herself except as a good time girl. The clubs might be exclusive and expensive, but the behavior is cheap as anywhere else. |

If Kate ever did escort work, this will ruin her life. You can't come back from that easily, if at all and she has no real chance at it. She wasn't someone who was claiming that she had to do it for survival and if it does come out as truth, she will be thrown out of the palace by MP's who will not tolerate someone like her being their Queen Consort. I do not accept how Kate wasn't someone without options and she was not living in the Third World.
