I really get fed up hearing about the 'suffering' of royals, as if it's the duty of the nation who pays their bills to feel sorry for them, while shouldering the financial burden for their luxurious lives. Fact is, that if Kate isn't over something that happened decades ago, it is clear that she is just as mentally broken as William is about his own mother.

I can't get over how much of a cliche she chose to become. She got the rich guy, the titled guy, but he likely never lets her forget where she comes from and how she got that ring. At this point, her life is likely miserable. I also think that she can't do anything other than cope anymore. Coping is all she has left. Even while she was chasing that ring she was looking rougher and rougher and more and more upset and hurt. Now she has the ring and title and the lifestyle, but she epitomizes "marry for money, earn every penny" and it does not surprise me where she is anymore. She is clearly at a point where she no longer has even the youthful optimism she had left upon her marriage, the day she married William. That day was even shrouded with doubts and dislike since it is clear that she was not welcomed or wanted by the BRF and the fact that a bride had to SEARCH for a friendly face at her own wedding congregation should show how bad off she was even on that glorious day. Kate has very real domestic problems now and regrettably she refuses to do the work to earn the respect and the love that comes from respect (the only kind of love that really lasts).

What pisses me off, is how she pulled all she did during that chase, ticked off a LOT of people in the upper echelons, and still wondered WHY William wasn't putting a ring on it despite the fact is that his life was mapped out and he HAD responsibilities that he needed to fulfill before getting married and she derailed him. I blame William frequently for being an ingrate among other names, but Kate came in and distracted and derailed him. She used him to go to clubs and resorts that she wasn't paying her way to and she was a negative influence in how he was ignoring his work responsibilities and then ignoring his family life (skipping family events to hang with the Midds) and then pretending that she wasn't aware of what consorts were supposed to be doing. I also believe that she failed as an adult to make a life of her own and introduce William to new experiences (outside of the bedroom) and failed to broaden his horizons in small ways. She kept shrieking about the press while her family was paying the press to promote her and then there is the fact that 2007 was the biggest, most spoiled temper  that any adult woman could throw after being dumped. So he dumped her, he never owed her a ring. Then she gets the ring and then she starts announcing that she is taking time off to 'get to know' William and needs time to figure out her charitable agenda. She keeps causing problems and keeps demanding to be coddled and cared for. |

The driving force as everyone knows was ghastly Ma midd who even ‘phoned Willy during the breakup clucking sympathetically down the ‘phone. She allegedly engineered the reconciliation too it was said by getting Kate to wear a sexy outfit at a do and inviting him to an event at her home. She played dumb Willy like a violin and really pulled out all stops to create the ‘happy family’ situation which he desperately craved.

I get so sick and tired of hearing her whining. She knew what she was getting into and it is a mark of her background that she refuses to take responsibility and refuses to accept that she is where she is. She was never a 'simple middle class girl' who happened to fall in love with a prince and it is clear that she has a complete disconnect from her actions and what they result in. As for pimping, Kate could have broken away from it at almost any time and could have gotten a real job and gone into an honest profession.
