Arrange travel? No thanks. Trying to organise a trip to Cayman Islands for my boss and his colleague and they have specific dates of travel, and our accounts dept querying the cost. I have decided to put them in bunk beds in a youth hostel for old people, and they will have to travel a day earlier than they want cos its cheaper. They can spend a day at the beach together frolicking in the sea. Sorted.

Clearly intended for someone with a trust fund or independent income. Average person need not apply. Not so subtle way of advertising for someone who moves in those upper class circles.

The salary is not exactly enticing. We are talking about one of the richest institutions in the world aren;t we here? So they spend hundreds of thousands on their wardrobe but a Personal Assistant that I would guess would have to be on call A LOT gets circa minimum wage. Or are the Royal employees expected to be grateful to wait on Royalty and that;s payment enough. Like the recent Caribbean tours showed, the BRF really does need to evolve and get off it;s pompous high horse.

How is it that Ms Kate can deliver monologues on the importance of family and quality family time, mother to child bonding, education etc (ho hum) yet expect a "servant" to survive (yes, survive not thrive) on this pittance salary? So in touch with the essence and essentials of life that meeting basic needs would be a challenge. The lot of them are merely a vestigial bone of the greedy, selfish, exploitative, patronising, ruinous feudal era.

If the assistant diary secretary needs a pa presumably the actual diary secretary has one too. So 4 people to look after one diary that doesn't have much in it at the busiest of times

Waity wears that much in jewels just to lounge around. That is what she thinks of commoners. They are beneath her even though they fund her lavish lifestyle.

That salary is about the same cost as one kate's dresses. You know, the one she wears in the morning to shake a few hands and is discarded by the afternoon only to replaced by another one. What a farce. Oncce the Queen passes we should drop kick these lot into touch.

Does her job itself involve any skill? Most people can read an autocue, after about an hour's training.

Typical royals pay pennies and expect perfection. So detached from the real world. Time it was all abolished.

That position should be at least 35K, I understand they don't pay for anything themselves, but can someone have a word in their shell like about utility bills, food costs, inflation etc.
