It's just not Meghan that has a What Meghan wore site; Kate has one as well and the site been around since 2011. So has Kate & her family been merching even more? Does the Whate Kate wore belong to Kate & the Middletons? They say Meghan is doing it & the What Meghan wore belongs to Meghan, so same can be said with Kate & her family. They'll never get the message. William and Kate have their heads too far up their a r s e s to read anything the press and people say about them, and when they do I'm sure they don't give a flip. Kate said as much in the engagement interview.

We, the taxpayers pay for them. What they don't seem to realise is that their luxury life and homes and security and everything they lavishly enjoy comes courtesy of the job. And the job is to get out there and be a royal - award medals, patronise charities, etc. If they don't want to do the job, then fine, they can forgo the luxuries of a royal life and get paying jobs like everyone else.

You don't pay for them - the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge don't receive taxpayer funding, they live off private income, in a private house, with private staff. And I believe you lot in Australia only chip in when one of them visits you there because the Queen is also your Head of State? So who is this 'we' you speak of?

Slightly, you keep harping and lying about the same thing on every thread. The Duchy belongs to the people, not the Windsors. Any money misspent out of the Duchy is money that should be spent on the people not these two lazy scroungers. They spend over 4 million pounds a year on their personal expenses, all out of the Duchy coffers not any personal money of their own. All of their security comes from the taxpayers, including security at the private residence of Anmer and at her parents house. Over a million in taxpayer money spent on security upgrades at her parents house.

@ OpenYourEyes: W&K don't receive funding from the Duchy. They receive it from CHARLES, who is just as entitled to dispose of his income as he wishes as any nurse or teacher paid from state funds. As for security costs, they would happen regardless of who is head of state. And they'd probably be much higher, too.

Rose Quartz the funding comes from the Duchy. You can keep pretending it is Charles, but it is the Duchy and the Duchy belongs to the people not Charles Windsor. You know this is nowhere near the same as a teacher being paid for WORKING, but then again a teacher WORKS unlike these two. No, the costs for an elected head of state wouldn't be the 450 million pounds the BRF costs every year. All security at private residences, especially things like the Wales farmhouse when the refused to live on base AND the costs of securing her parents private residence should be paid out of Wiliam's inheritance.

I think Kate's bad choices are her clinging to the only way of life where she truly has a place. Outside of it she flounders and sadly, William flounders in the role of a middle class suburban dad who is browbeaten into a life of domestic comfort. It is clear in my view that William can't cope in her way of life and she can't cope in his. Kate tries to rise to the occasion, but only makes a narcissistic fool of herself. She literally has no ability to cope in his way of life and she's struggling since she can't just up and leave without it having a hugely seismic backlash against her and yet she knows that William being a solid family man is the only act he has left, so he won't leave her without shattering that.
