Sargent's style is exactly like this artist. He was one of the greatest American portraitist ever.

I love finding these old pictures and family scenes. Here is but one of so many I have found...and they seemed to enjoy being around a camera!  Louis Battenberg sitting in front - his spouse Princess Victoria is sitting in a wheelchair, for some reason. Princess Alice (Duke of Edinburgh's mother) is being held her aunt Ella. Grandpa Louis of Hesse and by Rhine behind them. Just for a little reference.  |
