None of this means anything anymore. Celebs, rich people who give the Windsors enough charitable 'donations,' and they get titles. Elton John, David Beckham, no one special. If I chose the honors, I would decorate veterans, raise up the government officials to the peerage, and give honors to people who would make me or the nation look good via association.
