This is too public and there is no way that Frederick was just mistressing this woman if he were taking a suitcase and getting himself caught. Sometimes men let themselves get caught in order to make it clear to his wife that there are problems she is not facing or dealing with or he wants out and is giving his wife the mor@l high ground.

I sometimes wonder how much more CP Mary can take; her husband does not respect her enough to remain faithful and he is now clearly chill about getting caught. I wonder how much more that Mary can take. She might be holding on to become Queen Consort of Denmark and have all that, but what kind of life is that? What kind of life does she in fact have and will have? As each year goes by he is even more unfaithful and it is clear that this is something that should either break her marriage or reinforce it. I cannot imagine the pressure she has on her shoulders to end a marriage that suits her more than it does Frederick.
