I wish I could give Meg a hard shake and just tell her to straighten up, forget the press, and stop the lawsuits, stop the drama, and just get down to business. If she blows this, she will blow any chance she has of an actual Hollywood career (surely a dream of hers) and blow any chance at a stable, secure life. Once that money is gone, it is gone and if she doesn't spend it on actual productions, she will get into possibly serious legal trouble. Breach of contract would finish her off, but misuse of funds is something that could get her into legal trouble of a criminal kind. Lawyers do NOT come cheap and another nine months of waiting means nine month's worth of legal bills and troubles. That is real money, not bitcoin or plastic tokens and she will vaporize that money via legal drama that should (and is supposed) to be going to film-making. She is not FOCUSING on her responsibilities and Harry is becoming increasingly irritating with his determination to recreate a royal routine in the States and I have no idea of he's even filed paperwork that will take him towards legal residency. If Netflx loses money and 'face' over Harry and Meg's unwillingness to work, this will be a huge level of egg and in that industry, image and 'face' is everything. I do not believe that either Meg or Harry are aware of that reality and it is increasingly clear that Meg is blowing a lot of opportunities. She has the ability to attract an audience and she has the following that inspired Netflix to gamble on them. It is also clear that both have appeal and they're throwing it away on lawsuits when they should be focusing on work and pulling an audience in. They should be pulling shows together and not getting mixed up with more drama. She needs to stop getting mixed up in one problem after another.

Exactly! she knew that Harry was totally global and had to know that she would be of interest and what is this lawsuit about anyway? It's not like extra press will harm the 'brand' that they are setting up and she's now a fixture in world history. Chrissakes she has it made and she is blowing it. This reminds me of hysterical celebrities that rely on press attention, but suddenly go psychoid on a photographer that snaps them on the random while they're lunching at a media hotspot. If she blows this Netflix deal, she and Harry will be dead in the Hollywood water and will be just a tabloid sideshow act. She could create a talk show and have interesting people on there or Harry could reminisce about his military life and do things with that, but Meg in particular just can't LET well enough alone and I can't understand why she's suing the press this time around or frantically trying to stop her father from doing things. She is constantly in one fight or another and it is clear that she's going to burn herself out and end up a wreck. She got a huge deal with Netflix and she literally can't just chill and get to work and produce great material.
She should also realize that Harry might be on the verge of a complete and total breakdown and might not be able to cope with too much anymore. With the shocks of his choices and the reality of the choices, plus cultural changes, he might be on the edge of falling apart.

TBH it’s not her that has the influence to get that Netflix deal. They wanted Harry and only Harry. Harry is the one that has the global appeal. Not her.

Good point. Still, she is clearly taking charge of things and it's not for the better. She can't seem to stop getting mixed up in problems and dramas and can't seem to just chill and enjoy the good life. Harry is clearly not focusing on researching material for shows or movies and I don't think he knows how. Meg was mistreated by the British press big time, but she has to let that anger go and just do what it takes to make a life for herself now that she's back in the States and flush with cash.

Poor Harry...I wonder if she really loves him or just needed him as a step up to relevancy? - she would have never gotten this deal without this association. I believe...no, I KNOW there is WAY more that they know that they are holding onto. Something that would make the Abdication Crisis look like just a family reunion gone slightly bad. But they are holding back and playing these pitiful little one-up games with both the public AND the media. Meghan may think she's in control of things, but really, she's not. Plus, the information/secrets that are being held back aren't really for her to reveal - they are for Harry to. But I don't know if he has the grounding/security/courage, perhaps, to reveal the truths. That is why I get so frustrated with this petty back and forth bickering or these rather inane press items about them. GET TO THE REAL STORY, FOLKS!!! Otherwise, you just lose focus on what the real game is. Meghan gets more and more out of control because "whatever Meghan wants, Meghan gets...", Harry gets unfairly treated and seen as a hen-peck stooge who has failed his country, blah blah blah, and a certain other pair comes out smelling like roses.

Some people don't know how PERFECT they have things - how others with far more merit have NEVER had things drop in their laps. She was mistreated (long story there...), in hindsight we can see that, and yes, has to get over it. She wanted the fame and fortune and with that comes criticism. Buck up, and suck it up, buttercup, I say! Let's see, a marriage, no need to worry about struggling to buy clothes, put food on the table, and wow, living in mansions RENT AND COST FREE!!!!! Oh, the tragedy of it all! They were the 1%...even before Meghan was, she certainly was one of the many, many privileged people around the planet. These people never learned to be grateful for anything. Their bleatings on how bad their lives were ring hollow. On that and other accounts, Rachel Meghan...shut the #$## up and count your blessings!!!

All Meg has to do is just get to work, live down what has gone down, and just chill. Stop the lawsuits, stop pretending that she's a symbol of female empowerment, and as for Harry, the way he lived his life is the way that only someone like Meg would want him or be able to land him. This is why I would never date, much less marry an entertainer, they are often incapable of providing a stable, solid life for themselves. Meg is at war with everyone around her and it is clear that something went down that finally triggered the biggest upset since the Wales divorce.

^Well like a lot of entertainers she's terribly mixed up; she just hasn't fully 'formed' as a personality or person and unfortunately that leads to a lot of troubles in holding oneself together. She is constantly in one fight after another and it is clear that she is unwilling to drop this 'me/us against the world' BS that she's been carrying around. She should drop her vendetta against a father who wasn't posh, but he seemed like a good enough sort and didn't mean her harm at all, but she's been after him for years now. Her sister has been quiet, but she might have been bribed. As for this latest lawsuit, she is freaking out over something that as a public figure, she is supposed to be able to handle with aplomb since she has been an actress and has sought the spotlight as a result of her career. I mean really, she HAS GOT to stop the lawsuits and chill and accept that headlines praising or demonizing her will always be there and she still has it very plush. These lawsuits are distracting her from her primary focus, which is to work on producing films and pulling it all together and making it work with the support structure as provided by Netflix. I think she is pushing Harry too much and he's just been driven out of his family situation and it currently looks like it's building up inside and like he will likely have some kind of meltdown. He needs quietness and stability, not video messages or PR statements or speeches. Ever since the decision that shook his family/dynasty she's been kind of unable to stabilize. There were articles about how she/Harry would make speeches for big bucks, do all sorts of stuff, but there isn't any mention of downtime and recuperation and processing. Harry NEEDS therapy and as his wife, Meg should be looking after him, not hustling or lawsuits. She's literally fixated on the silliest possible issues and it's not healthy for anyone. It is clear that Harry is frazzled and in need of quietness, but thing is, that she can't seem to chill herself. She has to look after him, he is her husband and he's just left his entire existence behind and it will hit him one way or another. He has no real life or roots in California and it is clear that she's not paying attention to his needs. He needs rest and therapy, not videos or trendy causes.

His family specially Will and Kate did the smear campaign against Harry and look at them. No impact during COVID. Roll eyes. Secondly I think Harry will divorce Markle. I never thought they were a match. Third, Markle just seems to go too fast in life where she just needs to slow down and I agree all these fights and playing victim is tiresome.

I find it ironic that right when she was making a history changing step in regards to walking away with Harry, Covid flared up and wiped it off the front pages. If I had been in her situation, I would be thanking COVID in my prayers on a nightly basis since it would take a huge lift off of my shoulders. Then the deal with Netflix, a one hundred million dollar chance at a new start and she's basically blowing it. Big time. I think Harry will divorce her only if he finds a woman who is strong, but not unstable, but stable women prefer to avoid drama and Harry has way too much of it. It is clear that Meg is going to burn herself out as she files suit after suit and if she blows that Netflix money on vengeful lawsuits, I honestly believe that she will finish herself in Hollywood. She has the chance of a lifetime to break into that industry she's been dying to be part of and she's blowing it.

Harry wasn't even her 1st choice of an English mate. To date, it has all panned out. Now...she has a multi million dollar contract, Harry, and a baby. Okay...lots of money, legal troubles in the UK, and still relentless bashing on the gossip and tabloid web sites. She's gotten most of all she was aiming for, so what is the problem now? Not enough? Is Harry now just extraneous baggage ?(except he's got a son to raise and a contract to help fulfill) She's got both Harry and the kid on her turf...but how long can she hold onto it all? I just sense that there is going to be some breaking point...it all came too fast, too easily. No solid foundation, nothing given to them as a result of long-standing committment, work, or effort.

And Hollywood, believe it or not, is not the one and only place these days if you want to break in and create some interesting productions and work you will have artistic control over - if that was even her point. It's all just run of the mill blockbuster productions in Hollywood - you want to make documentaries, series, or whatever, you can go elsewhere. Hell, she went to Canada to shoot her series. Maybe could have stayed in the UK and build up a network there, I don't know? But, she played it safe and what she knew, so Hollywood, here we come!

It all panned out, but it has become up to her to make it work out; she has to work, she has to make an sustain a sincere effort and she has to end up actually succeeding. She is really putting a high stakes deal at real risk for sincere failure and it is clear (at least to me) that she is very close to completely screwing up her biggest chance at the career she's always dreamed of. She can't seem to be happy. She got that ring and title, she was eager to be a roving ambassador (which is the role anyway) and didn't get it, got bashed, so she and Harry decided to leave. Then she ends up getting a deal of a lifetime and she's doing everything but working and stabilizing and making sure her husband is getting help he needs to process his choices.
If Meg blows this, she will have zero chances, ever. I also believe she will end up a full blown pariah.
Thankfully. I am thankful that anyone can pull together a production and make something happen for themselves. The industry is thankfully changing into something more streamlined and more effective. No more bloated studios and no more having to hustle just ot get a foot in the door and no more having to do who knows what disgusting things to get a break/first job. Now anyone can register their own business, start searching for material, and also just move steadily along getting funding from venture capital companies and investors and assemble cast/crew on IMDB. It's all so much simpler and removes control from people who will wreck 'the vision.' Comes as a relief since I am moving into film-making and it is a relief that anyone can get an IMDB profile, register a production company, and start hunting for cast/crew and not have to go all the way to CALIFORNIA to just end up getting started.

I'm no expert on the matter, and won't go too much off topic with this post (lol), but I have studied acting/screenwriting for many years actually (until recent times), and hope to get back into the field. Remember my acting teacher talking about this - the place to go IS independent productions. Lots of work available for acting talent/crews in productions where I live - we have incentives for productions to be made in our area. I'm really happy you are moving into film-making! I wish you loads of success and please keep us informed about your creative endeavours. I know I have future goals of films or independent movies made for my stories/books (?) - but that's a little ways off yet, and I wouldn't want the Hollywood treatment for them. No way.

I wish Meg would stop the battles and focus on just work and her marriage. She is proving a lot of her critics right in the context that she is just grifting around and not at all actually making an effort to make the most of her advantages. She is literally pissing away a fantastic chance at breaking into the top tier of film-making and she's blowing it. She's shrieking about persecution and it is clear that her paranoia is way out of line. Bad enough that she cut her Dad out and that caused a huge mess, but I do believe that she is just out of control. She can't seem to stop suing and can't seem to accept that she has a sweet life all set up courtesy of her husband. At some point she will either burn out or go after someone who does more than just sue back.
