They said back then Camilla wouldn't be Queen Consort, but Princess Consort, the female equivalent of what Philip is today. By 2012, there was no mention of it, and she'll be Queen Consort despite of what was told to us. Amor@l couple. I hope the Queen hangs in there for as long as she can!

When will you Americans get it through your heads that there is no such title as "Queen Consort"? HRH the Duchess of Cornwall will be Her Majesty, Queen Camilla the second her mother in law passes on. She will be crowned alongside her husband and will be known as Her Majesty for the rest of her life. A consort Queen yes but a Queen nevertheless like the Queen's mother was. As for amor@l. Diana had many affairs with men both married and single. And WHAT does it have to do with YOU? NOT your Royal family.

I wanted to show the hypocrisy - figuratively biting the hand that feeds them. Yes, there is an element of the ridiculous in this all - They seem to really have it in for Diana - woman wasn't perfect and we all know that, but this is just mean to say about her. She cannot defend herself.

I am sure there are some others I can print here, but have to do some more digging.

Diana certainly had presence and charm, but as you say she really wasnt beautiful. Diana WAS a global super star and that would be just as true today and it was then. She was at the time, after the Queen, the most famous woman on the planet.

Diana was not beautiful. She was imposing and had presence but not beautiful. She was losing her looks by the time she died. Poor Katy Kent was mildly pretty in her time. She was not "striking" she was a small blonde. But have you seen the lady now? Tragic.

Yes Diana had very commanding features. A big nose and jaw. No one saw that when her face was youthfully plump, but as she got older those features became more and more apparent. A nose and jaw to reckon with.

I agree.The Queen and Princess Margaret were much more beautiful, with exquisite complexions, deep blue eyes, dark brown hair and very good figures. The Queen is still a remarkably pretty old lady. Diana would not have aged well and was already losing her looks by the time she di ed.

The Queen and her sister were far more beautiful as young women, were much more feminine and had much better figures. The Queen even now, when seen in the flesh, is a remarkably pretty old lady. Diana looked like a handsome young man (apart from her huge low slung bosom) she was very tall, with a large nose, jaw and feet. She had immense physical impact however due to her height.

Despite the Midds running down Diana, ma tried very hard to mix another one in her Petri dish allegedly. Unfortunately poor Charlotte couldn’t be any different. Not her fault she is unattractive and mean, ma in her usual haste just got the mix wrong.

Not true. By Victorian times women and girls DID wear knickers - or "drawers" - and there are many, many examples still in existence in private collections and museums. Queen Victorias turn up regularly. Get your facts right.

She set up photo ops, colluded with the press, went behind peoples backs to get HER side of the story out with the help of her mates in the media. She would have THOROUGHLY understood and approved of her son and his wife. SHE was just like them!
