William’s friend and confidante Tamara gives Australian magazine "New Idea" an exclusive interview on William's feelings and character regarding his love life:
Quote
Wills is set to make the same mistake as his father and marry the wrong girl. We reveal the shocking royal love triangle between Wills, Kate and his first love...
In a revealing interview that’s set to rock the monarchy, a member of Prince William’s inner circle exposes the young royal’s darkest secrets: his flings, his loathing of royal duties and the real reason he’s stalling over marrying girlfriend Kate Middleton – he’s still in love with Jessica ‘Jecca’ Craig, the woman named as his ‘true soulmate’.
A quick summary: :interview:
-Jessica 'Jecca' Craig is his true soulmate whom he didn't stop loving since 2001
-Jecca doesn't want to be princess because she enjoys her freedom
-William apparently dated a lot of girls at St Andrews the press never seemed to report on
-Kate being all cool with William flirting now, because she knows she'll get the ring in the end, but wants William to stop flirting when they get married
-William postponing marriage and entering the royal airforce because he hates doing royal duties
-Jecca and Kate are always nice and polite to each other -but Kate is weary now
-William was trying to date other girls in 2007 but got battered down and is losing his looks -going bald and is looking more “Windsorish” ( here's a video about this => click ) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY-VU4bcSsA)
-and that history will repeat itself (like his father) William will marry the "wrong" woman

I know, some royal watcher consider it "old". It has been at least 1 week old and already discussed somewhere else, but I still find it an interesting read and worth to be included in the forum :sigh:

I believe it is actually the first time one of William's inner circle spilled the beans and gave an interview.
I am not sure if Jecca is his true love, but definitely one of his best friends in which he can confide in. Jecca and Africa is his safe place wher he can go and just be himself. :laundry:
If that person he's inlove with is his true soulmate, then why isn't he with her? if they haven't dated since 1998 then they won't start dating suddenly in 2012. (I think) AND Jecca has said that she wants to live in Africa. Something that William can't do.
William might be a ditherer with Kate, but only because he is not sure to marry or break-up with her. William is also stubborn, I am sure if he really would want her, then he would do everything to get her. :king:
I think William's continued friendship with her is based more on loyalty, than any hidden feelings. Because of his special situation, William doesn't trust easily, so I imagine he stays pretty close to the people over many years that he has let into his inner circle.
However it's weird that Jecca was engaged and is free again :looky: And it was weird for PW to dump Peter and Autum's wedding for Jecca, even though the rest of the BRF was present.

I think him choosing Jecca over Peter and Autumn's wedding spoke volumes about where his loyalties lie. I don't think he meant any disrespect to Peter and Autumn, but it was a way for him to escape Kate and the engagement rumors. I also think it was his way to get her to not go. It didn't work, the press spun it as her "representing" him at the wedding, but it was just tacky and disrespectful to go without him.

As far as the Peter/Autumn, Jecca's Brothers wedding. From what I remember the explanation given for Wills absence was that he had already accepted the invite to Jecca's brothers wedding before he knew Peter and Autumn were getting married or when it was and he honored that invite and Peter and Autumn understood. :dontknow:
But I've never understood why Kate was there w/o Will, unless she had been invited separately as a courtesy to Will and it was sent and she accepted before they knew of his prior commitment.

If that is the possible case, and I have a feeling the courtiers are aware of this, then he should have a "fake" rebound who is willing to take the heat of the press until he's ready to introduce his new girlfriend. The only way it could work is if it's temporary. The press needs to make their money from the aftermath, the public should get over their Kate obsession, and the Middleton's should fairly fade from the spotlight. So when he introduces his new gf, she doesn't get the full blast of media bashing of Post Kate Era. But then again, it's probably not gonna happen.

I think alot of lessons will have been learnt in the Kate era. Hopefully by William himself.
I also remember him saying if he was serious about someone he would date them in private.
I think William should have time to himself post Kate for a breather and to 'find himself'. He hasn't been alone since he was 15 as he has always jumped from one girlfriend to another.
Also with a significant breathing space there could be no doubt as to the time Kate left and the other came on the scene along with the Kate frenzy dying down.

If he's marrying the wrong woman, this is his stupid choice. He as more options than his father and once he marries Kate, he darn well better stick with it and not torment another woman by pursuing her while married. No woman deserves to be called a you-know-what because William ran breakneck into the worst decision of his life. He's making it, he said he would wait until he was thirty, his mess and mistake.
I think that after he's done with Kate, he'll realize his loss after he starts meeting all these women and then they'll knock him dead and he'll have to go back home to Kate.

I agree with this thread that PW is marrying the wrong woman. He broke up with her in 2007 because he felt that he didn't love her enough. However, he's also aware that no woman in her right mind is willing to put up with his wondering eyes, therefore, he chose Kate because he knows that she's safe in a sense that she will always be loyal to him. She's not going to do a Fergie or a Diana. Kate will put up with everything, including infidelity as testament to her advise to Chelsy when Chelsy confided in her re. PH's cheating. She told Chelsy that it's to be expected when dating royal princes (or something to that effect). No lady of substance would want a husband with a wondering eye but with Kate, I think PW will be able to do whatever his heart's desire. Kate with her insatiable need to be a royal princess, will do almost anything for it. She had proven that for the last 8 years of Waity Katie. I think both of them are getting what they want in this twisted tale. For PW, a freedom for both worlds (married or otherwise) & for Kate, getting out of obscurity & social revenge for her family.

At some point, Kate won't turn a blind eye. Kate's advice is the advice from a woman who has so much to lose if she doesn't put up with it. Chelsy didn't have anything to lose. Kate knows nothing of the royal ways, if she did, then she would likely end up havign done things differently. She knows nothing of the royal mentality; if so, she would understand that the indulgence is about to end and she won't be catered all that much to anymore. Any stupid antics will end up with William no longer protecting her from the Court. William is doing everything he said he would do, once he's ready to get married (engagements more) and chances are he won't be staying on in a cottege in Wales, but on base.
After she has the ring, the demands will begin; William is just too stupid not to see it. She'll want everything and make him pay for making her wait so long and making her look like a fool, as if she didn't have a choice but to walk away.

People love the idea that I was the Cupid who put William and Kate back together. But really they did it themselves, says royal matchmaker Sam Waley-Cohen
Quote
It was at a party thrown by Sam at his family’s 17th Century mansion in Oxfordshire in June of that year that Kate and William were spotted deep in conversation and within a few weeks they were holidaying together in the Seychelles.
Sam, however, is quick to deny his match¬making powers and play down his part in the history of Britain’s most celebrated couple.
‘There’s an idea that I was like Cupid with a bow and arrow. People love the idea that somebody put them back together but they put themselves together far more,’ he says.

Definately. I wonder, upon hearing of her son's matchmaking, his mother stopped getting invited to shoots/teas/balls/dinners and his father started getting shot at when at the hunt. Even if he simply let them at the same party after the breakup, it was stupid and irresponsible of him. William was under pressure and vulnerable while Kate was panicky at losing her precious title and ambitious. When the press was sunny he was eager to claim credit and didn't realize that the aristos would be utterly LIVID at him for facilitating the two of them being on the same grounds, much less getting back together.
Quote
William and Kate, pictured here watching England play Italy at Twickenham in the Six Nations in February 2007, split a month later
They look so happy together, which is why I was expecting a breakup after the 2010 the wedding, not an engagement announcement.
Quote
Sam has known William since prep school and has long been a friend to Kate. Unfortunately, even though they are invited, his friends’ status means it is unlikely they will be guests at his wedding.
‘It’s Trooping the Colour that day, so I don’t imagine they’ll be there,’ he says.
I'm sure if they cared, they would arrange to go; if they can snub the President and First Lady after a three minute meet/greet I am more than sure that they could skip a duty (Kate could plead exhaustion) and go to a friend's wedding.

I think William should have time to himself post Kate for a breather and to 'find himself'. He hasn't been alone since he was 15 as he has always jumped from one girlfriend to another.
Also with a significant breathing space there could be no doubt as to the time Kate left and the other came on the scene along with the Kate frenzy dying down.

we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender!,
You know this speech still fit's the situations nowadays, you just have to change a few words, brilliant really!

A couple of my favorite quotes from Churchill!

I take it the aristos have been angry with Sam, hence the denial?

They look so happy together, which is why I was expecting a breakup after the 2010 the wedding, not an engagement announcement.
