No way; as much as so many on here loathe her, Camilla is nothing if not loyal to Charles and I do believe that Camilla loves Charles. Any woman who didn't would have walked the minute the press got snippy about her, but she's put up wiht so much that she HAS to love him beyond all else.
Since Kate has done the following:
*Resurrected Diana from the grave
*Worn Diana's ring, bringing back all those memories (likely causing Charles a lot of pain too)
*Brought back the press's tendency to pick at Charles
*Branded her the Dragon Lady after welcoming her to a nice luncheon
*Used her (Camilla) as a reason Kate won't be wearing a tiara, but instead flowers (reverse psychology, with Camilla pushign Kate to wear a tiara)
*Blamed Charles for the breakup in 2007
*Brought Camilla back into a royal drama, yet again making her the villainess
*Constantly creating more Diana comparisons
I would have to say that all of the above is likely the reason that Camilla is more likely to have a 'hunting accident' happen to Kate than embrace her. Kate is not just attacking the Heir, but her HUSBAND who I sincerely believe Camilla loves more than anything; plus, her set adores Charles and there is no way that Camilla would ever genuinely welcome someone who has been besmirching her reputation and that of the man she loves.

I'm more than sure that there are a lot of people gritting their teeth and cursing Kate through gritted teeth as the Big Day approaches. Right when things were smoothing out, William goes and ruins everything and his greedy fiance is still making more trouble. I am more than sure Camilla loathes Kate the most since Camilla is getting it in the teeth while Charles is going through the nightmare of being barked at by the tabloids to step down in favor of William.

Nah I think she loved the allure of being mistress to the future King and all benefits that come with that. Camilla only loves herself.

I think the title should be changed.. Kate Middleton is Camilla's best friend, because of Waity is so unpopular with the people, Camilla has become MORE popular. Charles/Camilla public approval has increased something like 10% since the engagement. Funny enough both Cams and Charlie have retreated to Scotland cos I think they're sick of the royal wedding too.
and I do think Charles and Camilla have a genuine love match, they're best friends. If you listen to their tapes (not just the seedy porno part) they have true passion. I think they'd be together even if Charles wasnt a royal sitting on a farm in Cornwall surrounded by sheep

I think she loves hm; she would have walked a long time ago and even if it is just ambition, if William usurps Charles' position in the succession, then it is likely that Camilla won't end up Queen Consort. Kate's accomplishemnt is now threatening Charles' dynastic right to the throne and Kate has been bringing up problems, one after another. Bad enough Kate is wearing Diana's ring, but now, go figure, Camilla is being branded the EVIL ONE yet again after a past couple of years of peace and stability.

No, I don't think Camilla is Kate's best friend, I just think she's the one she turns to for advice when it comes to "royal" issues.

WILLIAM gave her Diana's ring so if there's anyone to blame for "causing Charles a lot of pain and bringing back all those memories" that's William, not Kate. Besides, what would have been the right thing for her to do? Refusing to wear the ring? Asking for a made-for-her ring?

Why not Sidney? she should ask a ring for her own,if this woman ever respected the memory of Princess Diana she should ask that the ring should keep in the memory of the history and the people as Diana's ring.

William gave it to her and made it clear that he wanted Kate to wear THAT ring because it was a way of keeping his mother's memory alive. Besides, that ring belonged to Harry, who gave it to William so that Kate would wear it. It was their way of honoring their mother's memory. Kate didn't ask for that ring, it was given to her. If she had refused to wear it and had asked for a ring of her own I'm sure she would have been slammed for it ("Who does she think she is?", "That smug and snotty climber thinks Diana's ring is not good enough for her", "William gave that ring to her as an act of love and that pedantic woman refused to wear it", bla, bla, bla).

To be honest,we wouldn't know about that (that she refuse the ring).Unless it would be press job because i remember the media told over and over again that Kate would have Diana's ring.

I don't. Really. And I don't think he gave that ring to Kate because the media "told him" so or that he married her because she pushed and pushed until he finally proposed or that he's been manipulated by the Middletons, etc. And if that's the case, then it's obvious that he's a weak man and totally unsuitable for the role he will one day have to take.

In fact i do believe that the engagement was push by the media,he wanted to shut them up and that is his private matter as a royal/prince we should see only last year he prove be a royal.Still he is still young and he is not the next monarch but Charles so William have still plenty of time to grow up and hope one day he would be stronger over the press,Kate and the Midds.

You're quite right Raisie; that's the problem right there, William will change and evolve, but Kate won't. She hasn't in a near decade now and when William dumped her, he dumped her because she wasn't changing from the party girl to the woman he likely wanted. If he wasn't going to go as a career girl, he was going to go for a virginal aristocrat.

Can you imagine how annoyed PW and Camilla and the whole gang are that dingdong is bringing her sister along on their FIRST tour instead of a trusted advisor? Why not bring Ma and Pa Kettle along, too? I'm actually on Camilla's side in this one and can't wait for the claws to come out. I just know she can't stand that kid. And she IS a kid, mentally. So, no, I don't think they're friends at ALL.
That engagement ring cinched that, for me. It's gotta be a constant reminder that grates and grates on everyone. (Good show, Diana! Thank you, and I mean that!)
