Someone who will outshine WK so much that she'll disappear. That could be just about anybody, but it would be a grand thing if Harry married a much more welcomed and substantial asset to the mix. A woman of bearing and substance. A woman with a legacy to bring honor to the monarchy. Then the placards can read, "King Harry!" After PC of course.

Thankfully Harry seems to not have William's insecurities and laziness. He also does not mind the chase and does not give up at the first sign of trouble. I see not reason why Harry can marry someone better then Kate.

As much as I adore Chelsy, I don't believe she would be a good princess. She's too free spirit and sooner or later the burden of being a royal would hit her and big problems would arise, imo... Besides she seems not want the job. She loves/loved Harry but not Prince Harry, imo...

I agree. Harry seems to like strong and independent women who know who they are and what they want and will make her not only an interesting person but popular too, imo. Frankly, I see Harry's wife being the star of the BRF. The press may try play "Diana/Fergie" card on her but the public isn't stupid and Kate is no Diana...

I see it differently

Kate graduated age 21 took 18 months to find a job
then worked 2/3 days a week
quit after less then a year because she wanted more time to herself
Queen complained she had no job
made up a job at PP

After Chelsy graduated aged 21
Took a post graduate degree in Law
Then after graduating got a job with A&O
did an LPC course for a year with them
then A&O asked all graduates of the course to start 1 year later due to the recession.
In the year she has had off she has done pro bono work with a law firm in Africa as well as take some time off.

2 different circumstances.

When Kate graduated she did nothing, work a little, nothing, made up job.

While Chelsy did another degree, her LPC and was asked to start one year later then planned in her job due to situations beyond her control.

Chelsy comes from such a privileged background and lifestyle that she doesn't have to make Harry happy in order to live the life she has; she lives the same way Kate has, only I do not think that Chelsy's family has to take out loans. She would have met Harry at some point and did go to the private girl's school Cheltenham, which is posh and very old. She might not be working, might be enjoying life, but hse isn't on some campaign to get a ring.

Chelsy has been accepted time and time again by the royal's inner set and I am sure that she is the only one who will be able to deal putting up with Kate on a daily basis; Harry's wife has to be one.tough.woman. and there are few out there independently wealthy enough to keep up appearances and stay off of sufference of HM. She's also someone who isn't so prominent that she would balk at bending the knee to Kate on state occasions, as would be required. I am more than sure that in time Chelsy will be the only woman that Harry has that even cares enough about him as a man, not a prince or meal ticket.

Chelsy has shown Harry time and time again that she can stand on ehr own two feet and live the life of an army wife by having a life of her own and money of her own without going utterly mad.

I've been so badly burned by learning anything about Kate Middleton that I've avoided Chelsy Davy for self-preservation, so I know very little. But, what little I've seen, I'm going to have to go with Mia on this one. She seems like a really swell person and very independent, but not royal material. For me, after all of this Middleton bull thrown around and Wasty's imagine, we need somebody in there with some real clout and determined to be a royal and stay a royal and outshine Flophead every day of her life. Someone who really is either a royal herself or so high up in the food chain that Wasty can never withstand it. My bottom line now is hoping this marriage fails and I have never, EVER thought that about any couple. So, I'll promote anything I believe is able to either break WK or get rid of her altogether. There IS a chance that Harry could become King and from what I've seen, the BRF's image has been beaten badly with this engagement, let alone their stupid marriage and it will be on life support until either PW gets out of the way or she leaves.

And I know you guys all love Chelsy and she seems really normal and I'm sure she is, but her appearance and dressing style has always looked slightly sloppy and low-end to me and I'm totally fried with that with WK.

Although I like Chelsy, I hope Harry doesn't marry her. It's getting suspect with her not doing stuff with her law degree-of course I could be wrong-and her family's alleged acts with the Mugabe regime, which, no matter how innocent they truly are, could be used against her. I hope Harry surprises us with someone who could really rival Kate. There's a reason Kate's so eager to keep these two together.

Kate moved straight in after the last break up to try and get Harry to date one of her own friends so she would have an accomplice.

Look, Chelsy's father is in a huge mess, mainly since anyone rich and successful is now at a high risk to end up shot if they don't collaborate; it's like some doctors who ended up working for the nazis (Gisele Perl) and either went along or got shot. Easy for those NOT in the situation to judge and condemn. Chelsy didn't tell her father to collaborate with Mugabe and Mugabe kenw about Mr. Davy BEFORE, so it's not easy.

I totally understand what you're saying but this could be used against her no matter what, especially since that year has past. This and her father's business situation, just like Princess Maxima, will be used against her and Kate will look like gold. There's no reasoning since Chelsy will be marrying the spare, not the heir. It's not fair, but that's the way it is.

we can see something different here.While Chelsy has an amazing curriculum and her family (well her father) was not good,Harry understood that she wasn't for be wife material to him BUT Kate have an awful curriculum and her family was not good still William knew she wasn't suitable,he got back to her and will marry her.

Why? i am agree with many,William is weak and he was freak out when he was called cad on the break up.The Midds know he is weak and took advantage of it also they use the press by make the engagement.

Sad,i know but is true.Harry is strong man and the love that Chelsy have for Harry is clear enough to me,love sometimes is not necessary have the person next to him like slave (as Kate did) but care about him and wish the special one all the luck in the world because you know that you will have different paths on this life.

William and Harry are getting mixed up with these women because in their spare time they hang out at nightclubs where the only requirement is s short skirt and a fistful of cash, nothing else. They don't go to balls, receptions, luncheons, and horse shows except as engagments and other such things, with polo being their only other hobby. They aren't squiring nice girls to parties and behaving decently and they aren't bothering with the mainstream UK all that much except as a piggy bank for their charities. During their twenties, young men are either working or spedning time figuring out who they want ot take seriously as wife material. Harry and William are being toy soldiers and nightclubbing with women like Kate and Chelsy, both of whom have the time and money to follow them around or adhere to their schedules.

If William and Harry had spent less time behaving like trash and behaved like the gentleman they were supposed to be raised as, I do not think that they would be involved with these women. By now, William and Harry should have been well into another year wiht nice young ladies and no family who actually CARES about their daughters wants them paraded around in front of the media or in front of the RF for their approval or rejection. If Harry wants someone nice, then he is going to have to break completely with Chelsy and then go to places where nice girls go, where there isn't always a lot of money. William and Harry aren't making an effort to meet nice girls, they are only going ot meet trash.

Maybe I'm in total Kate Hate mode, but I just think Chelsy's going to add another issue to the mix that won't help. She honestly seems like a genuine woman and nothing as awful as Kate, but I'm thinking very, very strong pedigree for PH. Not only for him, but to put WK where she belongs, at the back of the line. I'm thinking more along the lines of some of the really fabulous women out there with impeccible credentials and lineage. And major influence, connections, and a strong will to actually devote herself to the job of being a royal. I don't think that's what Chelsy's after.

WK will destroy an awful lot of credibility with the whole family and it's going to be dam$ hard for anyone to want to be a part of that mix, so it's GOT to be somebody of superior breeding. Far superior.

At this point, Harry is going to have serious problems finding someone nice if he keeps up his current lifestyle. Royal men don't just have brides shipped in anymore and expected to fit into their own life and the women who do have the time to be at their beck and call are usually either on welfare or are the idle jet set rich, neither of who should be expected to be good fits. Convent bred brides ar just not going to happen and they also have to make adjustments of their own.

Secondly, if they are afraid to be single, they are going to have to start making their own adjustments. No woman was just going to walk in and then break up William and Kate and then get crucified by the press and also be a scapegoat if William is unhappy. Is anyone interested in Harry supposed to just work and steal him away? Not all women, esepcially nice ones, have the time or inclination to do that and I have to wonder if Harry and William are worth having if they aren't willing to fix their own heads.

I didn't mean to imply that a woman who married Harry would break up PW/WK! What I meant was, that WK would, finally, be aware that she's not 'all that'. Someone with substance instead of a girl-child.

And, no, I think Harry is still a better man than PW and women know that and I think he can do much better than his brother, altho, I do agree, with the Middletons in the mix, he's at a disadvantage. I will hold good thoughts that a gift from God arrives for Harry and the entire Commonwealth.

He needed to drop her and if Harry isn't willing to drop Chelsy for good this time, he doesn't deserve someone so much better than Kate.

Glad to clarify.

Harry needs to stop his jet setting and start getting serious; Charles had problems finding a virgin because he spent his twenties sleeping around and ended up wiht a messed up marital life while William has RUINED himself because he didn't have the balls to work with the courtiers and then get rid of Kate, then go to therapy and then do his JOB and engagements. It's not the job of a nice girl to put herself in the press/media crossfire and then proceed to split him up and then waltz off with him wiht no stain on her reputation. Even if another woman had never met Kate face to face it still would not have gone down well.

If you don't mind my saying, royal men need to stop pushing women to just upend their lives and wait around and start getting leery about women who live the party lifestyle. Where you meet your true love says everything about you, moreso than you realize. William meeting Kate during a lingerie show says more than enough. Or Frederick meeting Mary at the Slip Inn during some skeev party.

Harry has got alot more serious and settled.

He parties much less, there has been no scandals in a long time, he is settled in the army, has thrown himself in to his charity work and is well loved by most.

I agree, Mousie. Harry is becoming a man of the world and will have the opportunity to see and meet with many people, including fantastic, accomplished women. I foresee great things for Harry. I can't help but think back to The King's Speech and how history changed who was the King. Harry has King written all over him. He does amazing things, he behaves when he should and misbehaves when he should (sometimes) and never seems to take things toooooo seriously. But, he's also devoted to his passions and that, for me, makes a leader. He never wavers or second-guesses things, unlike his brother who dithers about endlessly.

I've NEVER seen that in PW. Let him fly his helicopters and stay in the service as he wants to, or roam around Kenya with Waisted in tow. But, I don't see him as King material. And if he is? Again, after PC, the monarchy will dribble away.

The Spare usually marries someone who is not as socially prominent as the consort of the future king. Diana was top drawer aristocrat and Fergie was old money gentry and considering Kate, I would have to say that it's more likely that Harry will have problems finding accomplished women willing ot bend the knee to Kate according to protocol.

IMO, Harry's chance of marrying someone truly worthy of him has been dashed by his brother's choice of bride. IMO, William ruined both their lives.

I just have to think though, is Harry really worthy of someone as dynamic as many on here think he is? Would he really be a good husband? He lives a 'fast' lifestyle and I don't see that working with any woman who might want to live a solid domestic life when not doing her duties. I don't see him slowing down in regards to his clubbing or work as a soldier, while good, isn't going to provide a settled lifestyle that many women prefer these days.

tale-like at least Harry does not succumb to a Stalker's tale ending like William).

Plus, I want to see a royal wedding that is really regal unlike PW & WK common wedding.

Class is not the issue for me, it's goodness in heart and motivation - and a solid work ethic. Kate has even reported to be quite rude, her manners are lacking.

I don't think his lifestyle is as "fast" as it's reported. He 26 (?) so it's not that unusual, and I haven't seen him partying very hard, very often, for a long while.

As for settled lifestyle, it's obvious (to me) that he really likes children, above and beyond what society requires, and I think in a couple more years he'll be ready. I think it'll also depend on if he meets someone. I can't see him and Chelsy settling down, as Chelsy doesn't appear enamored of the royal life whereas Harry's pretty comfortable with it.

As to other suggestions above that say William's choice has screwed Kate over, I think a strong woman wouldn't have a problem. Then again, it's the Queen that controls who has to curtsy to whom, and while HM has accepted WK (though very reluctantly, to my mind), I doubt she'd tell Harry's wife that she has to curtsy to WK. A strong woman as Harry's wife, someone willing to knuckle down and do her duty, might be a relief to the RF.
