OK so HM 85 and PP is nearly 90 and they must get tired, but I am surprised they aren't just attending the dinner before leaving. I thought they would have had an afternoon nap in BP between the lunch and the evening event. It also seems they are going back to Windsor so won't vene be in the same building as the happy couple.
Is it just me being too cynical about this but doesn't it all sound rather odd? Very odd.

I don't think HM and Philip would be able to restrain their rage if they stayed and watched the Palace be turned into a disco and had to mingle with the Middletons and their chavvy friends.

Looking at all this now I feel IMO that the Queen knows this marriage won't truly last so she's not making much effort into it.

She's giving the finger food ,champange Cocktail lunch after the wedding, then she's getting out of Dodge.

Oh wow. If I were Kate I'd want the Queen to make a speech at my wedding, thus really making me feel welcome into the family. It will be interesting what Prince Charles says.
