I thought that royal brides supposed to stay at Clarence House or @ BP. Articles after articles stated that it's the Middleton family decision to stay in the hotel. I just think that it's strange - as a matter of fact, everything is strange. The Queen & the Duke of Edinburgh just met Kate's parents last Wednesday, 4/19 - nine days before the wedding! Anyway, does anyone here has photos of Kate with the Queen? :bored:

^ No, Ceri, and no photos of the alleged lunch with the parents, either. Even if she did have lunch, apparently, HM's staff were also present. Hardly inviting, was it?
Honestly, why would anyone want to stay in a hotel when one could have access to such grand surroundings as a palace? Methinks the Midds weren't welcome, with Kate. Otherwise, why could Kate, her mother and sister stay at Buckingham Palace, with only the father and the rest at the hotel? Last minute plotting, in case William decides to do the "Harold Holt" (bolt)?
Sorry, but the suite is just as boring and bland as the bride herself - nothing special, IMO. Yooper: it's like they've tried to make it classy, but it's mismatched. :ick:

Hi June, I think so too that the royals snubbed Kate & her family. They (the Middletons) were just trying to save face by stating that they would rather be in a more "modernized" surroundings rather than in the palace where they have to share "bathrooms,,,toilets!" At least that's what I've read in forums but yes, I agree, why would someone chose to stay in a hotel rather than in a palace. And again, I also agree, I've lurked online & checked all possible photos of this supposed lunch date between the Queen, the Duke & Kate's parents. As usual, the Middletons are back @ their game - throwing stuff to the press that they're so in with the royals. I wonder on how long can they keep this up? It'll be just a matter of time before the press will go full force & rip them apart? lols

Ceri, the articles in the DM have become a lot more snide in the past couple of days. They're worth reading, highly enjoyable, if you ask me. :tehe:
Definitely, I agree that it's not the Midds' grandiose style to stay in a hotel. Since when have they ever wanted to down-grade and not flaunt their connection to the BRF? :June:

June, the nearer the wedding, the press gets harsher. As a matter of fact, the press remind me of a lion just waiting patiently on their prey, will jump for the kill when least expected. :spooky:

This is true, the press will exact our revenge, most likely before William or the BRF. :cookie:
I can't wait for the downfall and crushing blow to IMO the Monster Midds family.
I'm going to get my mother to watch the circus wedding and let me know what goes down. She'll be honest with Kate's looks etc.

Hi Ceri and June - I was glad to see that little item abou Pippa, that tells me that the DM is gearing up to have a few goes. There was another piece yesterday in the Daily Express, bemoanind the fact that Gary was going and other "worthies" like two ex-primeminsters were not invited. When the press finds out who was responsible that person will IMO pay dearly.
Andrew Moreton told a morning chat show that he has his book coming out on Tuesday. He's finishin it over the weekend apparently. Can't wait. He's no fan of the royals. I certainly agree that the Press is ready to pounce but they'll finish off the Middleton family first and then turn to the main course.
Can't wait. IMO this rushed wedding is down to William panicking last November.

Hi MOSAIC: :hi: How are you and how are you holding up?
As for the Middletons - well, there is really nothing left to say. They disgust me beyond words! :hiss: It seems like the palace are being run down by a group of trailer trash especially with Pippa being the party planner. I wonder if Uncle Fester is going to distribute cocaine in the reception or better yet, walks around half naked in all of his pot-bellied glory? I have lost every ounce of respect I have towards Pr. William. He is like his father in so many ways. Both are attracted to nasty trashy women IMO.
As for Andrew Morton - I can't wait to hear/read about his book. I'm aware that he's no fan of the royals but I wonder if he's a fan of the Middletons, particularly to WK?

The worst part is, is that if William were a normal guy, his family would NEVER NEVER NEVER let William date her for so long and make such a substantial committment. My ex-boyfriend had an uncle who was kind of like uncle Gary (minus the hooker part, I hope) and I did stay wiht my boyfriend at his trailer and don't get me wrong, I was young and dumb. I did in the end dump said boyfriend, however and never gave into his pestering me for marriage. William, the minute he found out about the activities of Uncle Gary, should have ended that relationship immediately. He had every legitimate reason and another kicker, is that Kate is 'SO CLOSE' to him despite it.
As for Kate, that hotel room is obscenely cluttered for such a small room. How on earth is she going ot be able to spread her things out and actually rest? If I am going ot pay that much for a hotel, it had better have room and not look like some pre-decorated chintz.
