One benefit would be to expose the sham that is Kate's 'perfect wife and mother' act. It would discredit the ideal of stay at home mothering as the only role model for women and it would further shatter the myth that Kate at least bore legitimate heirs. It would shatter her act for good and she would be exposed as a materialistic trouble-making parasitic wench who mooches and gives nothing back. She would lose that credibility and she would lose her mommy fans. It would undermine stay at home motherhood as a viable option for women and that alone would give career women more appeal. No more ability to be able to be able to claim motherhood as a career or profession and no man would let William forget how pointless his wife is to the nation. It would also discredit the media acolytes and the British press would be hugely humiliated. Imagine what that would do to various careers.

Her whole loving and committed mother act is a farce, especially coming from someone who did what she did. I am going to be there with bells on when her sugars finally realize how she has betrayed them along with everybody else in the UK and Commonwealth. She has caused so much damage - as far as humiliation goes, good. They were so willing to go along with the hate and lies. |

I wonder how the nation would react. William would have to trot out a new wife that has likely been his mistress and the nation would have to wait eighteen years until they find out of the new heir has any kind of work ethic and brains. A rhesus monkey can get a degree these days and so therefore it's not like a degree will make any promises. Realistically, it would piss of diplomats since they would have to explain this mess to their host nations and explain why the House of Windsor has another prince run mad and is marrying his mistress after the wife has been removed.

I think Kate got pregnant, got an abortion, and ended up collapsing since she thought that William would marry her to make her respectable and he wouldn't, and she got an abortion and then got dumped. Point blank, Kate makes choices based on the idiocy of her perception of men of her class. She refused to see that William is not like that. 2007 she did act pretty out there, as if William had committed a mortal sin by dumping her and if it did come out that she had an abortion way back I imagine that she would in fact have a complete breakdown. Maybe to get William back she threatened to go public with the story and that would have shattered William's saintly image. So he took her back, married her, and has been miserable ever since. Point blank, Kate reminds me of myself if I had made different choices, that is why I am so hardened when it comes to her. I understand that better now with this point in my life. Kate struck me as a version of me that came from frighteningly similar circumstances, with a few subtle differences, and it is clear that I wanted to smack her upside the head and yell at her to get away from her loony mother and stop being in cahoots with a woman who is tearing her down even if she was landing a prince.
These days if it came out that Kate had an abortion to please William and then proceeded to follow through with a pregnancy within wedlock, it might result in a major backlash because people are not tolerant of children being aborted out of 'convenience' and image.
