So go figure, she insists on behaving like a person who is not a public figure while living on the public dime and she's not disabled. It's not like she isn't able to do things and quite honestly, I hope William brooms her out. She isn't a businesswoman and she is not some kind of actual worker. She hasn't done honest work. She hasn't done ANYTHING for anyone. I do not think she is at a point where she is even wanted around. Kate's refusal to work has shown that the British nation does not need to rely on the BRF to open shops or open hospitals or make donations. Even worse, Kate hasn't been born to this life so she can't really claim that she doesn't know any other life. I realize what galls me the most is how Kate was not born to this and insists on doing things her way despite the fact that she has no real way of doing things. She has nothing to her name and keeps up this middle class working mother BS despite the fact that she has never worked and she isn't much of a mother. She is the epitome of everything wrong with royalty these days, mainly how royals refuse to act and work according to their station in their life. They refuse to just get on with their own station and I am sick of it. Kate is not paid to work from home and no one believes she works anyway. Oh, now she has cancer, apparently. I wonder though as for her family it was just business as usual. She is unbelievable yet not in a good way. Somebody convince me I am wrong. |

Second, how can she take preventative chemo if she already has the illness? She once got herself into a mess in 2012 and announced a pregnancy in 2013 and claimed the pregnancy was harder than most as a sympathy ploy. Third, I believe that something is going to come out as well. I think this is a way for Kate to hold on to her marriage. If I am wrong, I am wrong, but I believe that this announcement is a way to prevent William from divorcing her since he would be crucified for leaving a wife who is battling cancer.

HOWEVER, as a medical professional, I will say this: 1. they did surgery, routine or not; likely found something (cyst on ovary or what-not?) 2. sent that out for pathology while she recovered from surgery 3. pathology came back as cancer Margins in a cyst removal surgery are generally to ensure the cyst is unlikely to come back, cancerous or not If the margins by the best surgeons in UK were obtained, then it should be estimated that the PREVENTATIVE CHEMO is what we call adjuvant. It prevents any loose cancer cells from taking up housing in nearby areas of the original site. What is adjuvant chemo? Could be cisplatin, Herceptin, and others in combo depending on what cancer they found. Further, her long gorgeous hair? A wig because generally speaking ANY chemo, even with a cooling hat on during treatment, the hair is lost. WHY did she wait too long to announce? Well, for one - if she had done it at first, people would have cried she was trying to overshadow the King's health concerns. Again, I don't care one or the other about Kate or Billy Bully but I do care about people and their health.... and I love royal gossip, which is why I read here  |

Honestly, I cannot believe her, because this is her usual standby behaviour/modus operandi, so to speak? Kate gets called out on her behaviour and then claims illness, HG, or plays the victim. 3 times a wonder for cancer in the BRF? First King Charles (or was it Fergie? please refresh my memory, anybody) - so Charles and Fergie 1, 2 and now Kate? It's like she is only buying time, as KF stated, and that really rings true for me. I really have to be convinced in Kate's case because I think she is just a great liar and will go to any lengths to hold onto what she has obtained. She hasn't cared about truly pregnant women (other threads here) who suffered from HG and now cancer?
