Re misplaced jealousy above, that’s exactly what it is. Charles has always desperately wanted the love and affection that both Diana and Harry generated from the public, seemingly effortlessly. Poor old Charles tried all sorts of daft things to make him loved like appearing as a weatherman and chasing/playing with children but it just made him look ridiculous and unsuitable to be King. The public also haven’t forgotten his alleged friendship with dead paedophile Jimmy Saville. He shouldn't have had to always been made the bad guy. Mistakes and some dubious friendships aside, he does have way more merit and integrity than both his sons combined, imo. But I posted this for the mention of Carole. |

Charles is one of the most accomplished Heirs of this era. If other Heirs emulated him, the monarchies of Europe would have a clearly definable place as a genuine and sincere powerhouse. Just think, if all those feckless heirs had spent their 20's doing what Charles did and then some. The point and role of monarchy would be defined as charitable powerhouses that do the charity work that government officials and even business tycoons can't do full time. Imagine all the troubled youth that would be helped worldwide. It would be fantastic. Charles is the reason that so many directionless youth have a new direction and purpose and go figure, almost NO ONE appreciates that.
