First, to an extent, former employees should not be speaking out as experts and second, I kind of agree. Diana had an almost idyllic life and her father was a single parent and she was lucky enough to be able to live in a posh area of London at age sixteen/seventeen despite being a high school dropout.

I don't know why he is so whipped up about this. When she was alive shortly before her death, he refused to let her come to Althorpe to seek refuge. He was a bit of a shyte to her.

And he should have a talk with William about why he is allowing his in-laws to abuse her on the Daily Mail, apparently.

Willy Boy is so out of control that I don't think any little chat from Spencer would influence him at all.

Earl Spencer can't stop the royals from ruining his sister's rep since he isn't the Sovereign and can't control the Palace PR machine. Stop pretending that he is someone that they would listen to. He is their subordinate.

He is their subordinate. If it's fiction, then it's up for viewers to decide whether they want to watch it or not. Of course these shows will have some artistic licence - ANYTHING about royals or other figures is going to. We aren't flies on the wall -we weren't there, we don't know what exactly happened. Duh, Charlie.

When I see these two I see two people living a charmed life. I do not see two martyrs. One is an earl and another is a royal princess. Neither has had to struggle and both had idyllic lives as kids.

Some of my ancestors were the equivalent of earls, etc. The Spencers were always toadies and suck-ups, when it suited them. When the tide turned, they turned even traitorous at times. Not a very honourable lot in my estimation.

And Charles Spencer was a huge shyte to Diana right before she died when he would not let her come to Althorpe.

He did want to let her stay, but not in the house she initially wanted. He offered her other houses, but she threw a fit and so walked out.

Beautiful gowns. I hope Lady Kitty is happy with her super rich sugar daddy husband.

Seeing as he tweets about the escapades of his peacocks, rather telling he can’t congratulate his daughter on her marriage even if the groom is older than him.
