Lets hope that 2024 there will be action about the titles.
KC could follow Queen Margarethe footsteps with stripping the titles. Alternatively, he could set the bar that no titles are to be used for anyone residing outside of the UK or Commonwealth. Those titles including 'Prince', 'Princess' could be held in abeyance (or something). Furthermore, adding that if the person is not a working member of the Royal Family that the titles are not to be used. This would not only limit the Sussexes but also Eugenie and Beatrice.
If KC doesn't do something then William will certainly go in with an axe and it could be dangerous.
A little off the subject but other Royal Houses the members at least have a 2nd language. KC did spend time in Wales to learn the Welsh language but I don't think I have heard whether either of the Cambridge/Wales at least have some 2nd language. Basically, it shows they are lazy in expecting other royals and dignitaries to speak English when in their company.

Basically, it shows they are lazy in expecting other royals and dignitaries to speak English when in their company. Change in the BRF has always come late - it's almost as if they think that they are the standard to which other royal families, etc, have to attain or meet, but it's really the other way around. Other royal families have requirements they have to meet, be it having to follow their constitutions or government regulations they must abide by. They are not the ones not listening to or respecting the changing times, it's the BRF who has gotten way too big and bloated and stubbornly won't seem to really change until almost too late. A title shouldn't be an "in" to gain access, period. But it DOES seem to be an "in" to get the box seats, deals with celebrities, premieres, billionaires wanting to lend their mansions to the poor starving waifs, hell, even high-paying positions in foreign countries, too, never mind the actual qualified and committed folk doing without! You almost never hear any mention of cloak & dagger security requirements underway for so-called "lesser" European royals, etc, as they seem to go about their businesses without causing some kind of high-stakes drama. Barely or no mention of suing anybody that moves the wrong way. No more so-called diplomatic passports and whether they like it or not, nobody would really care if the press wasn't show-casing these royals EACH AND EVERY DAY. I believe I know why Charles won't strip any titles, anytime soon. I have always believed I have known and that is if he listens to the outrage directed at the Sussexes and actually strips them of anything, then by rights it's going to come down to the Cambridges and THEY are the ones who are the MAIN and ultimate problem. William and Kate Middleton are the single worst damaging influence there is, BAR NONE. I say, if the outcry is to strip the titles, go right ahead, Charles. But. Big but - it's not going to stop at Harry and Meghan, or the Yorks, etc, and you know it. For the 2nd language, etc - that is appalling that they are not proficient but then again, they were all never raised very well and/or are not intellectually gifted and enjoyed learning for it's own sake. There was always a kind of disconnect with the European royal families, and I think the main reason there is because the BRF thought they were really above them socially/politically, etc, and never were interested in just establishing cordial/diplomatic relations if there was nothing in it for them. It was about becoming global celebrities and going that easy route of attention and privilege; a life-long popularity contest. Who will win?

The real problem with recent generations is that they have a rotten attitude. I blame Diana for this mainly since she promoted the 'too cool for school' attitude that has infected royals. I remember watching and enjoying the fun film "Miss Congeniality" and in it this agent was ordered to pose as a beauty pageant contestant and she kept flouting the attempts of her coach to train and refine her and she didn't care since she was 'fixed in' and the coach asked her 'do you not care about how you present yourself' and he chastised her for making his job difficult when he was working as hard as he was at helping her do as well as she could to be a credible choice.
I have no idea why they even still have them. As for the press, the press is just using them to make money and at least in this area the royals are making a financial contribution.
I think the Yorkies should lose their titles since they are not working or contributing and they are not at all anything but trouble.
Exactly. That is it and what makes it worse is that they are leveraging their titles in the States and I am so sick and tired of all of this. They do not belong here and this is what it has come down to. Meanwhile they still enjoy diplomatic passports.

I wouldn’t blame Diana, you only have to watch her interviews to know she could put her foot down. The trouble is parenting is a marathon and there were certain hurdles and Diana probably had a plan for how and to teach her boys what and at the right time - while, to be fair, she was still a very young woman, who had hardly ever even left her estate let alone the country, and was still figuring it all out for herself. Knowledge is power. That entire interview is in code, by the way. Nothing she says is what it seems. I was bully-mich. Lol.

Instead of encouraging her sons to think like a 'normal' person, she should have raised them with the mindset that their lives were mapped out and they should focus on prepping for a life of appearances and travel and teach them to APPRECIATE their station in life. Diana letting William indulge in getting 'career advice' and encouraging them to flout boundaries and constrictions is the reason they are making such a mess. I am fed up with how Diana's 'normalcy training' was a good idea in the first place. Diana's idea of normalcy was a life of undemanding anonymous privilege and if she had been more of a mother and less of a jet setter, she wouldn't have been in Paris in the first place. She wouldn't have been killed and she would be alive and likely even worse of a role model. Diana was a well-traveled young woman; she had been to Switzerland many times and it is clear that Diana hadn't been schooled in some convent. Second, by the time she was a mother of two she had been all over the world and UK multiple times. I mean really, she wasn't fresh from a convent. I blame Diana and Fergie for not making their children stay in their place, for once. If royals would stay in the royal circles, it would be different, but they keep imposing themselves where they do not belong. Royals do not belong chatting with staff in the staff kitchen and royals do not belong in the US abusing their status and diplomatic passports to get privileged treatment when it comes to jobs and who knows what else. We plebs know our place and it really is time for them to learn theirs. They don't even stay in their own nations anymore. I resent our politicians for being passive and letting royals walk all over us and behave as if this is their home and it isn't.
