William, Harry, and the ongoing family battles

I think this mess can be explained along the lines of William and Harry growing inward instead of outward. William and Harry didn't just become a mess because their mother died, it started with Diana/Charles refusing to behave and engage the wider world. Charles engaged himself with Camilla and Diana focused so much on herself that she started to destroy herself a long time before she even engaged herself to Charles. Charles and Diana were two fundamentally self destructive people who refused to accept at an early age that people, their parents, and people around them have a right ot a life of their own, a life that does not always include them. William did not belong playing at being middle class and Harry does not belong in the United States playing at being part of the American workforce. Diana did not belong among Pakistani Muslims and Charles has never belonged with the High Grove set. they are not his own kind and never will be and they hold him back while he intrudes on their otherwise nondescript and uncomplicated lives. If Charles and Diana had not admittedly destroyed Camilla's marriage to APB, I am certain that things would have been better for everyone.

William and Harry are mirroring they self destructive behavior of both father and mother and taking the monarchical way of life with them. I believe that William is unaware that if he chooses to drop Kate and try to get onto some kind of track, that it is too late for him and same with harry. Harry is never going to fit into the United States and I am certain that at some point he will finish his ongoing self destruction. What I find interesting to watch will be figuring out when either prince wake up and try ot get on track, only to realize that there is no track and there is no one willing to build them one for free.
