Like what? Speaking up for the women who are assaulted by migrants? Or how is she helping with the Swedish economy as it struggles along with the recession as a result of the pandemic. Or maybe of course, the fact that she could auction her couture dresses and help the Swedes with bills or pay off the student loans of medical workers, the one who actually WORK at trying to keep patients alive. So far, she has done nothing of substance. She contributes nothing. I mean really, she does the same things as the others do, wear the best, eat the best, and look down on those who pay her bills. She is unexceptional and non-contributing.

I find it difficult to believe that she does not look down on anyone. As for the issues, if she or other royals want to be taken seriously as more than socialites with titles, then they should stop being useless while demanding both power and respect. Those spoiled brats (and they ARE spoiled brats) do not DO what they actually can. If these royals auctioned off their couture gowns and paid off of the debts of medical workers or just workers in general, they would in fact be making a better impact that idiotic public service announcements. Or stupid videos. They don't DO ANYTHING. They do not do chores, they do not do paperwork, they do not get degrees in actual areas and they blow their 20's (and taxpayer money) on partying and mixing with the cheap instead of the great. They snub and condescend people to actual accomplishment and party with people who they know nothing about in low level clubs and date/marry groupies.

I find it difficult to believe that she does not look down on anyone. If they would stop trying to have it both ways, it would be better on everyone. If the politicians are doing all this work or are supposed to, WHY are royals getting all that couture, all those jewels, numerous palatial palaces, and other limitless benefits? I really am disgusted that for some reason, there is this belief that despite contributing nothing and shouldering nothing, they get EVERYTHING. I mean really, they do not get a top level education, do not stay up late at night doing paperwork or stressing about a TON of problems, but for some reason are allowed to get all the benefits and coddling?

People like to buy into the fairytale aspects of royalty which in turn brings money to the economy if they market it right. But if that’s all they have to offer that’s disappointing. Royalty should do a lot more for the countrymen. |

I know people knock the Arabs, but they are all heavily educated, heavily trained, and work heavy schedules. They are not at all as airheaded as the European royals. I think deep down, the European royals would LOVE to work, but regrettably they are not trained to know their place and do practical things in practical industries.

In my view, the thing with power is that you have to learn and accept that you can't control what people think and can't control what people do. They are not being trained to make good use of the time they have on their hands and they are not being trained to accept and respect the reality that they have limitations. Kind of like how I have a disability, I have accepted that I can't memorize and retain things like others can and I can't learn like others can. Royals are being neglected in that they are not being raised to accept that at some point you have to choose a direction and learn to deal with the situations that come from that decisions. Princes are not being raised to be hard headed and pragmatic and they are not being raised to accept that the current reign is not going to be the same for them. Most importantly, princes (and to an extent princesses) are not being raised to make something of themselves in order to attract decent types. With this era, young women who ware smart, hardworking, and decent are not going to run after a guy who is statistically less likely to propose than otherwise and so are therefore more career minded and LOVE to work. They do not know how to streamline or downsize and keep expecting the 'right type' to either be offered up or 'tried out' sexually and be willing to be discarded with no thought of being hurt or humiliated. These royals really do expect the 'right type' to just drop everything and run after them and put up with humiliation and harassment and then after marriage, eat the dirt that is kicked in their faces. Then there is the way they treat the courtiers. The courtiers have in fact been the only reason that royals have someone to pull up their pants and it is clear that royals get off on wrecking the carefully laid plans that take hard work to map out.

I have no idea. I do know however that I am SICK and tired of people without qualifications or any kind of concrete ANYTHING in their own right looking down on those who keep their plush lives going. I resent the fact that it isn't their money that they are being stingy with. If I had hundreds of millions coming in, my staff would be the best paid and the best looked after and I would certainly be making sure that I had the qualifications needed to responsibly handle that cash and also handle my own office better. Nothing makes me seethe more seeing these dolts in business suits dressing and acting like they do actual work in actual business.

I honestly wish that taxpayers would not have to pay for these people. Royals behave as if they are in fact earning it when they are not. I dislike how the US is treated as their own private playground and I resent how Americans are looked at as simple minded neophytes who lack culture and sophistication, despite the fact that WE are the ones creating computers, cars, planes, so on and so forth. I resent how royals make it very difficult for people to just get on with their lives. They are paid millions, but demand that their people donate to their charities (that do not really make a concrete difference) and it's not like they make a concrete contribution.

I think things are at a point where there will be subtle, but significant changes. It's not like royals will be removed, but quietly sidelined and asked to stop trying to be the center of things, things that matter like stabilizing the economy, maintaining the peace, and chances are politicians will quietly start removing their incomes, their multiple estates, and their government bodyguards if the royals go on vacations. It won't be a dramatic announcement or drama, but realistically, the free ride will officially be over. I do not think that this joyride will continue unabated as it has before. No one accepts unquestioningly that royals are entitled to all of this and I do believe that presidents and prime ministers will start removing a lot of 'trimmings,' maybe the black AMEX usage or maybe start removing access to their passports if they are not traveling on official business (no more Ibiza or Mustique) and chances are that governments will start getting nasty with meddling royals. I think that post-pandemic (no time soon certainly) there will be a point where no one wants to listen to Maxima spout off or listen to how HM EII has the 'hardest job in the world,' and if royals jet set while politicians work, it will likely result in a lot of seething resentment. If the royals do not USE the brains that God gave them, they might wake up one day to a politician telling them that they will end up being forcibly vacated from their palaces and into either the gutter or the nearest viable government housing project. None of these people seem to get it that they have come up WAY short in regards to serving their nation/people and it does come to a point where there will realistically not at all be any kind of point to at least letting these people take up the time of government ministers who would prefer to just get on with work and lives of their own.
As it is now, the Tories have taken the Queen's flight and realistically that will never be brought back. I am still shocked that the Tories did this and it shows that things are serious if the Tories of all politicos are cutting something like this out.
